I already tried that ship. Result was the same as you. I guess Cryptic Studios doesn't like Romulans or Remans.

I just tried switching to a FED science ship. No ready room also you can't sit in the captains chair! I tried the Delta Flier. No computer. It seems there is no work around. Is there a way to skip the rest of this group of missions and go on or is this toon going into stasis until Cryptic fixes it?

I spoke too soon it was fairly easy once I realized what I needed to do. Just switch power usage from balanced to engines. I know you told me that. It just didn't click in my mind right away.

No message just stops the STO client completly. Since I am on Linux then it might be wine but I don't think so as it worked fine yesterday and I haven't changed the version of wine that is used. I can't do Q's eighth anniversary mission today because it now crashes within seconds of starting the game after selecting a toon!

I am on Linux and using Lutris gaming which uses the wine api to run windows games on Linux. To bad Cryptic still hasn't ported STO to Linux yet even after all theses years of gamers asking them to. I am not sure if Lutris uses Malwarebytes or not.

It's a joke. Denise Crosby played Tasha Yar and later played Sela who is Tasha Yar's daughter. Thats why STO got Denise Crosby to do the VO of Emperes Sela. :)

Damn it Scotty you were too slow today. * Log and new charectar creation took too long. Maybe cryptic will cut me some slack since I have been playing since open beta back in January of 2010 when STO was getting ready to launch and was a gold subscriber for over 1,000 days.

The launcher will not even start today. Keeps bring up the Cryptic crash reporter.

When I try to run Arc it says updating and dosn't do anything. I waited an hour and still nothing more. I tried running the installer and selecting repair but when I run it after repairing it still says updating and never does anything further. :(

It was in the avalible tab. Sorry I didn't think to check that. Like you said it would seem obvious to a player that has been playing since STO since open beta back in Jan 2010. I should have thought of that. I never saw the mission. I will go do that after I kill these gorn. Lol Thanks for reminding me.
