They continue to add admiralty ships. They're even including some in the upcoming Fleet Holdings update, according to their post. I honestly can't remember the last time I ran any admiralty missions - I do not need specializations points, upgrades, or project only dilithium, and there are literally hundreds of ways to make…
I would like to revisit my proposal for a new Admiralty chain, based on the Gamma Quadrant. Rewards would include Gamma Quadrant commodities among the standard offerings. It has been 5 years since the Ferengi were added. Time to either expand this system.
You are correct. Thanks for the clarification. Yes, he can set the time of day on the main map, but not create multiple Risa Resort maps. His concern about the race events at night aside, I, for one, would appreciate seeing a night-time Risa, even if it's an off-season mini-event or just a weekend. I doubt they'd do all…
According to a recent Ten Forward Weekly (Preview of Risa, available on Facebook), Scot Boyd indicated that he could do just that. Around the 24 minute mark, he says setting the time of day for the map is relatively easy, and he's willing to give a night version a chance, though he'd have to re-visit lighting so we're not…
I know that a return to Day/Night Cycles are impossible now because of certain short-sighted technical decisions. But this is my annual call to make RISA a permanently nighttime environment.
1. With the nerf of Reputation Dilithium, I don't intend of making any new characters. 2. It only takes a few hours to level up to 65 anyway. 3. I certainly don't need any new ships. Or any of the other "also included" trash items. 5. There's no way I would ever pay $120 to STO for any reason whatsoever. No deal, Ferengi
Quote from the article on Phoenix Prize Pack Changes (https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11515903) "The original effectiveness of Phoenix Upgrades stemmed from a calculation that assumed a price point of 4,500 Dilithium per application – the “Base” price of a Phoenix Prize Pack. However, with…
Really, though, why stop at nerfing Reputation Dil? Why just throw new characters under the bus? Let's go after the veterans, too. Those Lifers have it pretty easy, don't they? Maybe, instead of giving them the regular 500 Zen stipend each month that they can just convert to dilithium at will, you instead give them a 500…
Sorry, I am not a frequent contributor, and perhaps I'm off base here, but I thought Badd Moon Rizin was in charge of monitoring the forums. Are they not the Community Manager? Has there been a recent change? This isn't a TRIBBLE post. I am genuinely asking, because I don't follow all the comings and goings closely.
Wow. This bundle costs more than my lifetime membership. Discount notwithstanding. They have really gone 'round the bend with their prices since they started this whole Mudd Market BS. It's just insane. But I'm sure there are plenty of suckers dedicated fans lining up to drop cash on this overpriced garbage high quality…
That makes sense. Devalues the T5s T5Us even further, but with the new "Fly T6 at Level One" update, I guess any non-T6 ship is pretty much useless now. (Except for the ones with useful consoles, of course.)
Yeah. Just saw the same thing myself. There was an announcement on Twitter 11 hours ago. Apparently it is ongoing. https://twitter.com/trekonlinegame/status/1138621061681954816
My guess, and I see some other people are on a similar track, is that with the release of Picard, the game is going to have to adapt to any changes to the "Prime Timeline" that said new series introduces. This could end up with a complete revision to the Romulan story arcs as well as the (quasi)faction itself.
