It's been happening here since mid-day, California time. The fault is with a Cogentco node that is flaking out. It's an intermittent fault, so it doesn't always show up in the traces, but it is dropping packets and causing the connections to time out. Yeah, it has been a no-go all day. either it won't load the patch server or if I do get in it times out every map load.
