Lamenting the death of the subscription model, or even nostalgia for the days when subs got actual benefits above and beyond f2p/micro transaction players... That is, at least, a couple of years too late. The whole industry is either already this way or headed in that direction. The difference is, with STO, you can…
This^ I've noticed that a large part of the community here has issues with Cryptic and the way they do things, but you guys need to get out more often. This kind of stuff is going on all over the industry, and while I'm certainly no Cryptic fanboy, the real truth is that they're actually much better when it comes to this…
But but,... It's all trash. If you're upgrading in this way, you'd be better off shopping for greens and blues, or even foundry farming. The stuff we're rolling on is vendor trash, click greed if you really don't need any more EC, otherwise, everyone else (all of whom will be needing EC, and every little bit counts) will…
Of course, it depends on the mission, but generally it's Need in this game and I don't want to hear any complaining about it. Two reasons: it's all trash, trash = EC.
Purchased the joined trill myself, and I was sorely disappointed when I put the command tunic on it. I just put on a high collar and resigned myself to staying that way. Now there's gonna be the swimsuits, and it was the first thing I thought of when I heard it. Here's hoping the character art team has already thought of…
I sense a slight note of sarcasm in your post, and I see your point. However, some ships need exactly that, and I hope to see some more boff reorganization to some T5's. Which ones and how may be debatable, but I for one like the trend. Edit for speeling
I had just come to the forums today to pose my dilemma: VA Tac captain leveled up in escorts and now in his Patrol and Mirror Patrol Escorts wondering what I should do next. Should I drop fifty bucks on an Andorian bundle? or spend it on a cloaked fleet Defiant? or a Fleet Patrol? should I jump to an Avenger and fly it…
Watching all of them pop out of boxes last night, seeing the exchange fill up with them, and witnessing one parked outside of Ker'rat made me physically ill. The review didn't help much to alleviate the anxiety I've experienced watching these things gettng added in.
That is indeed unexpected. In this modern MMO environment, where f2p and micro transactions are king, storage is one of the biggest payouts you have to make on most games. Getting free extra storage just because is enough to alleviate the typical rage that comes from being nickeled and dimed to death over a long period.
No, they've had content problems all day, the 'network down' bull is them trying to get some of it fixed without actually admitting they broke it in the first place.
I don't care how long the servers are down, I just want to be able to play the new content when it comes back up. I understand that minor issues and bugs often creep up on a launch day, but there are plenty of developers out there that actually test their new content before release, and the ones who don't are smart to…
