If that's the case, they need to implement a work-around so we can skip it (and those electrified floors too, tho I was able to brute force those). And I don't mean skip the mission, I mean skip the puzzle so we can still get credit for it. It's literally the only mission arc my KDF recruit cannot get credit for because of…
Yeah, this is getting old. SO busy making new stuff and ignoring old issues it feels like. Seriously, either include a method to SKIP the damned "puzzle", or fix it!
I can agree with that. I would liken the Delta Quadrant to trying to fight the Borg, in an offhand way, just a step up. A lot of attacks that are good at stripping your defenses and leaving you exposed for their big attacks. With a cruiser, this usually leaves me frantically trying to spam my heals and fighting a losing…
Different experience then. I primarily fly Cruisers, and just setting foot in the Delta quad gets me wrecked. I have to go in with a science vessel or face a steady wall of frustration.
Speaking from experience, the first time I went into the Delta Quadrant in the game was a real wake-up call for me as well. But I've noticed from playing through it a few times that the Delta area is really anti-cruiser. Tank types just melt there, they're too big and too slow to handle it, especially if they use (as I…
Not sure if this has been brought up, but MMO Massively posted this article: http://massivelyop.com/2016/05/11/seventeen-things-you-need-to-know-about-star-trek-online-agents-of-yesterday/ Of specific interest is this: 13. New captains will only be able to pick races that make sense for TOS era, so no Bajoran, Cardassians,…
As a KDF player primarily... I kinda hope they'll toss us a bone or two with some ToS inspired Klink ships. I love that old Klingon design, and would love a T6 version of the ORIGINAL cruiser! Otherwise... meh. Another alt to see what they got, then back to stomping around in my Fleet Vo'Quv.
Responding to my own thread because some experimentation revealed another wrinkle. The brightness level you set in STO persists when you alt-tab out of the game, but when you alt-tab back into the game it resets to your PC's native brightness... Oddly it'll swap back to the set brightness when you alt-tab back out of STO…
Two DRs Feddy is idle in the Delta Quadrant, stuck. Level 59, and needs level 60 to finish the arc, and I don't have the energy to grind it out. Klink is at 56 or 57 (I forget which) in the Delta Quadrant, and nearing the same spot the Feddy is stuck at. I'm hoping maybe I'll manage better, the Klink has fared a LOT better…
Honestly I just want more klink clothing options. The stuff we start with is pretty bland, and we get very little added to that. With only one Z-store outfit set too....
52 Farasian sci klink in the same torp-boat. I also tried transwarping to the map... that just crashed the game, and when I relogged gave me some scary looking message about how my ship was in a broken part of the game, and it would be moved back to the main instance.
Thanks for the opinions and answers. To those who recommended the torp and cannon boats, wouldn't I lose the effectiveness of the Plasmonic Leech console? I thought that only worked with beams? I'll have to recheck the description... And as a note, I do understand that just because I'm a sci officer doesn't mean I MUST…
Thanks for the responses. So a quick follow up: 1) While I can agree it might be better to pick up a T6 from how you define it, is there one that would really suit a sci klink? Should I just suck it up and get a Mat'ha raptor or the Command Sci vessel? Not like they have a T6 carrier or BoP in the store... 2) Thank you.…
This was just happening to me. Had it happen a few times since the Episode 10 patch dropped. I didn't realize it was a space only issue. Thank you for telling me what was wrong, and yeah, I'm putting down that I'm having this problem too.
