unrelated, but your sig is basically my pvp strategy lol and it has gotten many people in my fleet who just wanted to "try" pvp to give up on it quickly :(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqFvNulYYQA What happens when a DPS-er tank goes pugging. I'd say this run would've been FUBAR without the scimitar. (Infact it almost did fail on the left transformer) So darkjeff is right.
Im pretty sure the plasma consoles got a name-change sometime recently. The 1 DBB builds are probably cannon builds, which this one isn't. And I believe that Antiproton DBB builds are quite popular with ships that have 3 weapon slots in the back because it's possible to equip 3 360 beams aft weapons. 26.5 base turn rate at…
Just to add to this, using isometric charge on a group of tholians wrapped up in a gravity well is super effective. And I personally like to kick graga mal off my team quickly and use TBR on any tarantulas that I see. Just my personal preference.
Riots will happen if this is implemented lol. Its just not a good idea to suddenly change what's optimal after players have already invested a lot into whatever they've been building for so long.
Thread: "Game ruined by 3rd party tool designed to display how big your yellow numbers are - divided by seconds. Therefore causing players to taunt other players saying 'My yellow numbers per second are bigger than your yellow numbers per second lol nub!'" Cmon guys get a grip
Damage type doesn't cancel the 1 per boat rule. No disco ball of death for you unless you go arrays. (It actually kind of works now with +beam spire consoles and plasma embassy consoles)
Power doesn't sell. The illusion of power in the form of shiny new ships sell. Real power in the form of piloting skill, equipment synergy and teamwork seems to be too expensive for most people to afford unfortunately.
Positive feedback loop Conservation of energy Max Auxilary power Emitter Synergy (Scryer trait) Fleet embassy particle gen plasma consoles Exotic field exctier science consoles that's the major ones that I can think of at the moment.
And i'm a science captain in a science ship that isn't too far off from what RyanSTO is doing. I also fly my ship similarly to how he does in the video.
This video gives me a little bit of hope that my science main could reach at least 75k sometime in the near future. Just need a bit more power creep, yay! Nice piloting. Credit where it's due on using TBR pull effectively while avoiding core breaches lol.
AFAIK, the top dps science captain/science ship combo on the dps league table is done by some noob in a T5U Vesta. So my biased opinion is: T5U Vesta/Aventine/Rademaker :) It has plenty of potential for exotic damage to supplement beam weapons (y)
Oh yes you do get a warp in animation. But then on groud you get the nipple slap animation or wrist poking one for beam out. I guess its fine either way then
Sector space is even better. Just a loading screen. This thread is now an advice thread :) Edit: I am sad that a few pages ago someone said sci and engis are useless because maximum dps pls :(
The fact that a simple metric such as dps divides the sto community so much proves how casual this game actually is :) not that I mind since im not actually one of those people who go into pugs and lament at low numbers. I've seen high-dps people do this more often then I would like. The only time I lament low numbers is…
You've never seen people asking for help personally attacked or shamed in the DPS channels before? Well I certainly beg to differ. I see it from time to time. Not that it bothers me much, It just let me know who to avoid. And is also a reason why I refuse to join the 50k channel.
Couldnt you just join a t5 fleet, contribute enough fleet marks and other stuff and get buying privileges eventually? Its what I did and it makes sense to me that most fleets dont let people stroll in, buy stuff and leave. So...just join a fleet? :D
