Been an issue for longer that a few days for a LOT of people, just go browse the forums and view the million trace routes posted by people. Almost all of them Comcast people too.

Im on Comcast too but everyone who isnt using Comcast isnt having issues it seems. Im watching a friend play through Share Screen on Skype right now and they have no issues what so ever. And that Level3 thing was already resolved 2 days ago. A day before that guy posted that thread LOL…

Are we allowed to connect through a VPN or will that get you in trouble and account banned? If I use a VPN I can work around Comcast and actually play.

I'm not even able to get on now, when I do I DC within a minute. I had that issue with that dialog box popping up on me all the time before. I have no clue what I did to fix it.

I'm about fed up with this game. Friend I brought to game few days ago logged on no issues. Im stuck in a lag hole. Comcast seems to be the issue. Shes on CableOne with no issues.

Think it was fixed on Thursday the 27th. Ran trace route using program called pingplotter for a little while. To me is seems like its an issue with Comcast. Edit: My Apologies... 198.49.243.253 before the timeout is actually owned by Cryptic. Would be weird if the timed out hop wasn't Cryptics too.

Problem with that is, it has been happening longer that the time posted. Check through trace routes posted by people. Its the same thing in everyone. I don't think its Cryptic, its Comcast/Congentco issue. Hops are timing out before reaching Cryptic in every single tracert.

Almost got in, started to load Beta Quadrant then got SNR for 59 seconds and DC. Must not be an STO night for me, glad they give extra days on CE event because Ive missed 3 now. Guess I'll watch a movie. Good luck to all.

Times like this I wish my Nandi bridge had a security officer. Not that I mind party balls but in excess like this is a bit much on the eyes. If they disappeared like normal it would be cool but since they don't its a bit annoying. To the people who dropped them... congrats, you succeeded.

I liked it, I get burned out easy on missions when they are too long. I'd rather have many short ones than few long ones. Ive done the CE event over 50 times now across my characters and I have not noticed anyone AFK in any of them, could be that I was just to busy fighting to pay attention to that too though. Ive had that same issue in the video once, couldn't move or do anything.

That second before last Hop seems to be an issue with every tracert Ive seen everyone post.

Well I did get in for 2 minutes. But I was lagging and rubberbanding really bad. Got to DS9, while inside I attempted to refine dilithium and got disconnected. :( Sad days.

Unable to log in also. How come this is such an issue now? I've had more login and lag issues in the past 60 days than I have the past year :( Ever since Risa, I started getting disconnects, login issues, and rubberbanding. I normally don't have issues. Game has always ran pretty smooth.

Everyone with issues all seem to have the second from last hop timing out.

Posted in other thread but fits here better so I'm not going to continue posting about the issue in more that 1 thread. O.o I got to Char selection screen a few times but after clicking play on the selected char I get booted back to log in screen. Edit: Im in now and have switched chars a couple times successfully.
