I'm excited, and can't wait to see what happens. HOWEVER, I will point out that the Romulan ships look a little more like bugs, and less like the "Raptor" of Romulan lore. That's the only gripe. Otherwise, I am full-on happy we got T6 variants of the Flagships.

This. Don't get me wrong. The Armada stuff and the Admiralty system all sound great. But not so great that we had to wipe out the Iconians in one season. So, this year's Mary Sue/Gary Stu Award looks like it may be STO for premature climaxing.

Absolutely right! The original post was about disparities in gear. Does it really matter? In the end, the Federation will end up with more ships that have Federation unique consoles that make up for the imbalance. Why do the Feds need anything? They already have more ships by an incredible ratio, and more playable races. What else can they need that the others are getting? How about the Feds just sit this one out and be content with what they have, hm?
