Yes, I hava same problem, MACO rifle's primary attack doesn't work, secondary does. Fleet mate tested his MACO gun and discovered the same. The MACO rifle's been broken since Age of Discovery. Most people just switch to another gun and shrug it off.

"Surface Tension" with my fed main, that was fun mission . Then some early klingon missions (“Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning” and “Keep Your Enemies Closer”) with my low level klingon alt. The reward indeed comes up when you level up. My toons under level 20 get 500 EC, between 20 -29 they get 2500 EC and toons that are over 30 get 5000 EC.

My fed Science captain is currently flying tier3 Science ship and it's ugly. It looks like one of those big-ball-roll-on deodorant sticks with nacelles/pylons stuck to it. Flys like one too. The previous (T2) sci-ship handled much better.

Do not enter deepspace encounter while using shuttle/small fighter -> you die, a lot. I was giving my new peregrine fighter a test drive. Spent more time respawing than actually fighting.
