Well, not completely obsolete, but it all depends on your priorities. This will be expensive for a while as everyone loves cooldown reductions for the extra cheese.
Well, searched my logs on my first main. Got that one 8/17/2012. So it did work, at one point. Granted, I had to play that mission with a science and engineer player back then to get the non-tactical ones.
PvP used to be still fun about 6 years ago. Back then, even with some of the crazy consoles around, it wasn't all DPS and one hit kills. A specialized science build could stand toe to toe with a vape build. They they reworked the captain skills, and in the process hiked up science resistance, and rewarded players who took…
I wish the space abilities worked as well as they used to 5 years ago, but back then they heavily nerfed space science to the ground while rewarding the DPS hungry crowd with one shot kills.
Missed that one, and even that came after at least 6 years from the previous one because the devs didn't like the comments left after not delivering features they talked about.
Two anti viruses including one that's garbage. Friendly advice, there is some software out there that backs up all the Windows drivers called Double Driver. It hasn't been updated in years but it still works perfectly in the latest version of Windows 10. Reinstall Windows 10 fresh with no internet and get all the drivers…
Once you get the autofire going with matched weapons, it's just press spacebar for boom. Going all tactical with a cookie curtter build is the easy path to making everything blow up left and right. My original toon is a tac, and barely played him after the Legacy of Romulus expansion except for ginds and events, and it…
Leave it alone. It's the one yearly event that takes me at the most 3 minutes to do. On the flip side, I'd love for the Summer or anniversary ones to be quicker. Oh yes, still around sometimes.
If I had gotten the Humble Bundle, I would have used Spock. Sadly, I didn't. Unless the devs ever give people the chance again to own those, it's 23c boffs for me.
See Build post I keep updated here in the forums Now granted, I don't have everything in that list, but once I got above 875, I popped a doff assignment crit and then used QSM to take this screenshot. The actual possible maximum will show 894. Subsystem targeting III and Tyken's 3 with Aftershocks are both downright evil…
Hey, they also seem to have scalsd NPC resists from 400% to 800% thus finally killing off power drain builds. They really went all out throwing bugs into the game this month. But hey, prepare for ragnarok when the expansion hits. Without fail, every single expansion brings bugs so bad they sometimes have to do updates…
Have just been made aware of the Bajoran Deflector +80 and Saboteur 2-piece for +20. Time to grind to achieve perfection. Max has moved up to about 883.5 then.
An update to this very old post. The new max DrainX until the expansion drops using a Fleet T6 Nebula is 861. Now you can add the Lukari beam/torpedo 2 piece for +20 DrainX. Missing one 23rd century science boff below
A chance not to have to grind 15 days this particular event. I'll take it. Out of the 3 (Summer and Winter being the other 2), it's the most annoying. A good chunk of people aren't surprised, and I'll leave it at that.
Meanwhile, I never pay for appearance stuff, and get all the freebies. Since the intelligence and formal sets have been given several times in the past, I got two new freebies.
So ignore the accolade system and bribe players to play content that will most likely result in obtaining accolades anyway. #facepalm Would have been better off making an "accolade" points based reputation to unlock goodies.
I just did the first completely fresh install in a long time. Decided to do a fresh Windows 10 Creators install which by the way, is pretty different from what I'm used to since Cortana talks to you through the process. Put patcher in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cryptic Studios and nothing else and kick it off. Must say, the…
