How do you know this whole thread wasn't a clever ploy to buy up items cheap and sell for profit? I may not be devious, but I AM drunk! And again...seriously? Not one Rick and Morty fan has read this thread?
So you're saying I should buy up all the singles and resell them at a higher price? And that's fine. The thing I'm not figuring out is people posting singles at way less price than bulk. Honestly I don't see how you're doing that as every time I go to buy or sell something, the singles are cheaper than the bulk. Am I just…
Maybe I shouldn't be complaining that my competitors don't have the lobes for business. But wasting my time and clogging the exchange affects my profits. Read the damn Rules of Acquisition! ;P
I swear the exchange didn't use to be this bad...buy in bulk to save is how economy works. I don't understand how undercutting bulk prices and selling individually is not a waste of time economically. But hey lets just insult me some more.
Well, I'm glad your weapons go gold at 5% but not all of us are so lucky. Are you sure you're not confusing weapons with consoles/engines/deflectors/shields? Because those don't take half as long to gold.
Yes I'm clueless..that's why I made enough on the exchange last year to buy 2 Na'Kuhl ships, a Suliban cell ship, several costumes and expensive weapons, 2 Porthos, and all the uncommon lockbox ships (for admiralty) on all of my characters...and I don't sell lockbox keys if that's what you're thinking, only items that I…
I see what you're saying but I say meet in the middle. Stacks of 10 or even 5 are at least reasonable...honestly how often do you go to the exchanging saying: "Man, I sure could use 1 Contraband." It shouldn't be often enough that people are putting up 20-30 of the same item one at a time. Really I wouldn't even complain…
Allowed, sure. I'm just pointing out it's a waste of everyone's time to list them singly en masse. Sure you might make a little more money, but from what I can see you'd have to burn hours a day just on the exchange. I'm on disability and have pretty much nothing but free time and even I don't have time for that.
Every time I have gone to sell contraband in the last few months, the first stack has been so far from the front page that I felt I'd have to sell for a ridiculously low price for my stack to even be seen.
If you're going to try to make any kind of real money you're going to need to sell a LOT of items. You really mean to tell me you'd waste the time it takes to sell a stack individually? I wouldn't even waste the time it takes to post that many items individually nevermind waiting for them to sell if they sell at all. And…
Every time. Go ahead with those settings and search Contraband. Tell me how many pages you have to scroll through before you find a stack of more than one.
It seems with the combination of skills, traits and equipment I have, the cooldown for Emergency Power to X is only 32 seconds. I can live with a 2 second downtime and save slots not using Damage Control Engineers.
So far I have tried Torps and Plasma builds (the engines on the Na'kuhl ships make the most godawful noise). When I used Torps, my few beam weapons were Polaron so I'm trying a Polaron build now. The guy that makes Reverse Shield Polarity last longer looks really good. I'll probably use the doff that reduces cooldown on…
It's weird how I've played the game so long and have been able to learn so little about character setup and combat strategy....I'm practically an expert at grinding, Admiralty, doffing, making EC over the long run...I know not to do anything without a bonus. I only upgrade on upgrade weekends, 95% of everything I have…
I use mostly basic abilities Tac, Sci and Eng Team, Torp Spread, Beam FAW, the only attack patterns I have really messed with are omega and a little delta, Emer Power to weapons and sometimes shields, Rev Shield Polarity, Hazard Emitters, GW, sometimes Energy Siphon but mostly on characters that dont have any good ship…
I was mostly hoping to get an idea of which ones are useful...and more importantly which ones are useless! I'm trying to find a build I really like. I ground (or is it grinded in this instance) the TRIBBLE (wanted to use another word...can we swear on these forums?) out of this game since I started just before the first…
Yeah see...I have trouble trusting lists like this because if I notice there's even one missing(and there's more than one...at least all of the K13 doffs), I assume there must be more missing that I'm NOT aware of.
Basically like most things in the game, I'd really like to find a list where someone highlighted all the options that sound really useful, but are actually garbage if you understand how the game mechanics work. I'm tired of buying stuff and then finding out later that it either doesn't work the way I thought it did or…
Are the ones that reduce recharge on the "Team" abilities worth using? I use Tac Team a lot, partly for the dmg buff but mostly because it's just quicker and easier than adjusting shields manually.
I brought it up because I saw a doff I had never seen before randomly on the exchange last night. I never knew there was a Doff that extended the duration of Reverse Shield Polarity and now I kinda want one.
The beam has a 5% chance to boost hull and shield regen and +80% Crit Severity(for some reason). The console increases Polaron dmg, Shield Cap and Turn Rate. And the 2-piece set bonus gives +15 Polaron and Proton dmg and +20 Drain.
