Nukara benefit from APB3 just as transphasics do, and vastly outperform the transphasics, especially against larger enemies. They're more useful in PVE than PVP because in PvP people are zipping around like fighter pilots these days. In PVE you can guarantee you will net the buggers. Also, the damage bypasses shields, just…
It's a yes or no question, nothing else. Would you be fine with that compromise, yes or no? The only 5-tac KDf ship has a turn rate of 5, lol. Your answer looks like a no, which proves my point.
Nobody is saying any of that. Most of the KDF comments on this thread come from the standpoint of balance and reason. Like I said, take away one of the Defiant's tac consoles, add a sci or engie, then give it integrated cloak. Why is that so bad? Oh I forgot, because you want to have your cake and eat it too. Yet another…
The way these Feddies whine about that cloak console, you'd think they were getting some major world-shaking use out of that sci slot they're putting the cloak into. I think a better way to phrase their request is: "Please give the defiant another slot for me to put an OP universal console into."
If you want to do anything with mine laying in the B'rel, get the Nukara Web Mines. With a pattern, they are hell on any big ship who angers all of them at once. Their damage is boosted by AUX power too, which is *perfect* for the B'rel. Pretty sure no consoles affect them either, so your primary weapons will be unaffected…
You can also used doffed Scramble Sensors to mess up their cooldowns a little. But yes, if you don't have SubNuc things are rough. Otherwise your timing has to be *perfect* and even that might not be enough.
I only PvP in Ker'rat, but for me the reason to PvP is because every engagement will be different. What works once may not work the next time. The terms of the engagement are subject to change at a moment's notice. Even after you beat your foe, you can't assume that you are safe. PvP is fluid and changing. PVE in this game…
I'm KDF and I agree! Give the defiant an integrated battle cloak, then reduce the hitpoints and change its console layout to 3-3-3. Oh, what is that? You don't want to make any trade offs? Well too bad. The Defiant is a great ship as it is. L2P. Edit: errab beat me to it :)
They already have a form of diminishing returns. The console only increases the base damage. If your weapon does 100 damage, one 30% console increases that to 130. A second though only increases it to 160, not 169. Each console will only get you 30 damage, period. In the example, you are only receiving a 23% damage…
It's hard enough to kill defense-oriented A2B builds as it is. The problem isn't consoles, it is the BOff powers and DOffs. I agree with this though. The PvP minority is always complaining about something quite loudly...in every game. Then their whining leads to changes that often end up TRIBBLE the majority who do no PvP…
I don't see how we need any more new ships at this point. Boff layouts are pretty well represented among the factions for the most part. What will new ships offer but more creep?
I'm actually guessing they were Guard or Reserve that had been activated. A lot of those guys are little more skilled than conscripts, and tend to get similar assignments. Not all mind you. Some Guard and Reserve are pretty squared away. But yeah, some are pretty bad.
What are BO2 and BO3 tooltipping at for you. One thing that I have noticed is that some players in PvP are running extremely high native resists on their shields. You may have run into somebody with the right resist type on their resilient shields who also happened to be running at extremely high shield power. I know some…
I don't think a dev has been to Ker'rat or even thought about it for years. In fact, I'm not sure a dev has known that we have another faction besides the Feds for a while now with how they said the ESD revamp was "something everyone is going to love". I highly doubt that the Feds' nonsensical relationship with the red…
