  • The main issue with SNB is the same as always. (except just after launch, when it was just silly). It hits too hard, and too infrequently. No one skill should have all that power. (If we didn't have ships that could combine DHCs with Sci cmdr stations, I'd say make it a t4 boff ability, but we do, so I don't)

  • Funny thing about STO PvP... all amateurs vs. all amateurs is great fun! premade vs premade is great fun! The more this balance is skewed, the less fun for both sides. (example: 2 premade players one one side can ruin the amateur match, just as 2 amateurs on one side can ruin a premade match.)

  • OK, I'll raise to the bait... OP: Yes, this is how PvP has always been in STO, unfortunately. Gear: No, you don't need the best of the best. Not even the second best. Heck, a group that excel at teamwork using mkII gear could probably beat 5 good solo players using top gear. Universal consoles however, is another matter.…

  • crashing? or freezing? Abot half the time i zone, I get a timeout error that never ends. Have to alt-tab out and close STO from the toolbar and re-log. Same issue? Or different?

  • Sadly I'm a bit of a ST addict... Luckily, I used to run wierd ship setups, that may never have been optimal for winning, but relied heavily on piloting skills.
