Strangely my STO login was fines until now despite seeing problems with NWO yesterday, but as of a few minutes ago I can't even make it out of the launcher login due to "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out." Forget feeding the hamster, it's likely dead. Send in the nanoprobes.

So, for me running normally gets past Cryptic screen and crashes on New Dawn loading screen. I'm on 15.11 with a 7770. Using "-d3d9" DID work for me, at least to finally get into the game itself, but I haven't played around much so can't vouch for stability or crashes during gameplay.
