Same problem here. Looks like the servers are all lagging badly. Took forever to load the part of the launcher where you enter in your password. Once I finally got passed that to the character selection screen that was lagging as well. Finally got to pick a character only to have it time out and kick me out of the game.

Just wow, the new animations are horrible. My character looks like a toddler, with a full diaper, trying to run with two broken shoulders. Change them back please!

I noticed it as well. It's Rather annoying. Just how do you break the sound files any way? Looks like they hired an intern/novice and had them copy and pasting files with no clue what they were doing.

Your correct I was forgetting about the old NVidia 7950. Another 10 year old GPU. Guess its a good thing you can play STO on fairly outdated equipment. Not many games can say that any more.

I have the same issue. Your fix works but is annoying since I just got used to using the change character button instead of the log out button. This needs fixed asap. I have characters in two different Fed fleets and one uses a global channel and the other does not. Not being able to switch from the global to the fleet…

There is no count down going on in any of mine. It says 128% completed and just sits there. The character name is T'Khal@khalifria. I can't get you a screen shot because I can't stay connected long enough to get the windows open again.
