None of the T5 or T6 faction ships show up for either of my KDF or Fed aligned romulans. I assume it has something to do with the C Store being disabled on Tribble, but nonetheless, they are not available even though the release notes say they should be.

If you don't want to fly an allied ship as a romulan, then don't. No one is forcing you to. This just gives those of us that want the option that ability to do so if we choose. It also gives us more admiralty cards.

Wish this sale included the Bridge packs too. I've been considering getting the Galaxy 2368 interior. A sale on this might put me over the top.

Instead of clicking the "exit to sector" option in the BOFF popup, close that and select the smaller "leave map" button that is usually behind the BOFF popup. That smaller button will put you back where you were. The BOFF popup always takes you back to the sector map outside ESD (even if you're a romulan or Klingon).

I was able to get them working again by rebuilding the keybind file (with exactly the same contents) and saving it with exactly the same name in the live folder (exactly the same place). I can't even get force verify to work. I have closed down the game repeatedly, restarted, selected force verify, and then logged in, but the game just loads normally. I don't care about the pulsewave reward at all. I never use pulsewave weapons with any of my characters.
