They probably don't want to run it with the new Terran Empire ships because it would be too hard for lower levels, and running it with the old, wouldn't fit in with the current story line. Easiest solution is not to run it at all.
I have two torpedo builds with kemocite, while I dont parse, neither has the DPS of my two main beam builds without it. Can anyone post some actual data?
Space for me, I don't like the ground combat at all. Recently played Fallout, after a long break, I had forgotten how much fun it is to sneak around and oneshot everything in the head.
I hope that the ship metrics under the admiralty system is at least as complicated as "Top Trumps" and not just a scissors, paper, stone of escort, cruiser, science ship. l hope that the system is separate from the current doffing, not just extra missions bolted on. And I hope that the mission rewards reflect the fact that…
I don't think that the assignments are rigged, but after 3 years of doffing over 10 alts nearly every day, I believe that the system cannot be truly random. Not having kept detailed records I can't prove anything, but I have noted on a number of occasions each of the following: a) particular 'doff crafting' missions have…
I upgraded the one good one I had and three next best ones to Mk XIV, 3 went to Epic; an open bottle of scotch helped me cope with the pain of the expense, I'll review the damage next time I log on. I vaguely remember going through The Cure like a hot knife through butter, so perhaps not a complete waste of time.
I'd pay 122 times the mats, to choose, in the last 4 days since I decided to ditch my old fleet weapons, I've got one decent weapon after over 10 hours of crafting! This system really sucks.
1 in 122, just having a bad day I guess. Got 3 yesterday, which is more like I would expect. So right about the 'rage inducing grind', just how I feel at the moment.
You can have a fun run through a bunch of targets with a TS3 on the way in, the torpedo pds as you pass, then a TS2 on the way out. With Ketrocite (Kemocite?) Laced Weapons (a must for torpedo ships), all +torp tac consoles and as many torp boosting sets as you can fit, the spike damage is awesome. Hard to fly well, but…
I suggest that you don't aim so high on what you consider a 'finished' build, Mk 14 vr weapons and (main) consoles are good enough for 95% of the content. Then, make a new alt and get a new ship and try a different build. I was bored enough to (nearly) quite, instead of that I decided to have fun with a 'part gen' build,…
I'd suggest that you aim to 'upgrade' as many of your doffs to purple as you can, firstly, this increases the chance of a doff mission getting a 'critical success', with significantly better rewards; and, secondly, selling unneeded purple (and, to a lesser extent, blue) doffs is the last easy way of making lots of EC. If…
Agreed. Before I had the particle manipulator trait I noticed that the isokinetic cannon would occasionally crit. I can't comment on the maths, but I hope the above is correct.
DS9 to the mine, back and forth is the best I've found for farming (all stuff), but Argala is still good for points grinding. I don't think there is one place to do all.
