The "call and response" segment on the final platform does not flash the color-coded symbols before asking the player to repeat, so unless one gets extremely lucky in guessing, it's not possible to activate the gateway to get to the next part of the mission.

FWIW, was able to login after complete game re-install. (Uninstall Arc and games. Reinstalled using freshly downloaded Arc install package.)

At least on PC, mouseover on the “Event” panel of a mission will list the modifiers (+/- and potential bonus rewards).

Someone's been playing with a Science kit in the datacenter. The patch server appears to be suffering from hits by Tachyon Harmonics and Stasis Field. Either that, or someone added Trixian Bubble Juice to the hamster's water supply.

At the very least, some form of announcement that this transition was going to occur -- with a "Here's what you can expect..." -- would have been useful.
