Thanks for the link. I still do not understand why I am affected in a major city and so few others are. I still cannot connect to the account server and the launcher is extremely slow. I cannot connect to anything Cryptic actually. I guess this Level3 net catastrophe is a strong possible culprit.

My hero :) Well, I did fully uninstall all my stuff related to Steam including STO, Aura Kingdom, Lucent heart :( but now I guess I will be patient, and maybe look at Champions too for my 'action outlet'. Thanks for the tip!

That has been that way since I started STO, so - May 2015 - with many patches between then and now and that transwarp remains broken. :(

I would have held off on buying the T6 Pilot Escort [Fed] had i known a Defiant and a BoP T6 were on the way. At least my KDF will get to enjoy a classic Trek ship at T6 level with a BOP. Hi there Bubbaloo! The patcher did disconnect me, and would not let me reconnect, so I tried through Steam and connected. I do not think Steam made a difference, I think i just got lucky and connected. And now the patch is downloading about 4x faster. Groovy. 2003 :P
