  • This post has been edited to remove content which violates the Perfect World Entertainment Community Rules and Policies . ~syberghost Summarized it was just this: Your account was banned due to the PayPal dispute, resolve it with Paypal so we can forward your ticket to the support team, so they can investigate my missing…
  • Two of my tickets about the same issue have been marked as solved already, Bran. Both were reopened by me without any sort of appropriate reply - and even the completely inappropriate replies were only spawned by me disputing payments. Don't tell people to mail back, tell your support people to do their job, get your…
  • Received the same, though mine isn't marked as solved. A huge list of standard solutions. A second ticket was closed as being a duplicate with a query to no longer file duplicates. And they opened a new ticket themselves, under Billing Support, saying this: Came in 15 hours after me filing the dispute, and ~14 hours after…
  • And sadly, I'm now taking that option before it expires. Just disputed the big LoR and Neverwinter packages; a good 300 Euro deal there. If I wait any longer, that possibility expires. Though judging by other posters in this forum, I doubt that'll do anything but an autoban and me getting refunded by Paypal because PWE…
  • Oh come on, pay bloody attention before writing bull**** like this. It has been written multiple times that you do not trigger AccountGuard when changing your email via their website. Thats what the hacker did to me, and thats what I did myself when I changed it back. AccountGuard is completely and utterly useless as it is.
  • I am not insulting. I am simply tired of people thinking Cryptic gets to do what they want with their customer's money, that TRIBBLE accounts only happen because of a players stupidity, and that EULAs overrule customer protection laws. Not to mention demonstrating a complete lack of understanding regarding the way…
  • Something quite similar happened to me as well. Cryptic is taking forever to resolve these issues, sadly. At least my characters were restored, though I'm still waiting for ZEN, Dilithium, and NW Astral diamonds. You sir are clueless and naive. Plundering game accounts and selling the spoils has become a pretty big…
  • Oh please. Half of all american EULAs are invalid within the EU because you sign/accept them AFTER buying the product. You are vastly overestimating the reluctance of courts to dismiss EULAs. Cases like this alone could go to court over side issues, even, simply because they failed to protect personal information of their…
  • Cryptic knows -exactly- how much currencies I had. Especially Dilithium and ZEN. You can even view your own exchange history ingame. Don't be ridiculous. And I'm not certain how the behaviour of SOE in regard to pure ingame currency with no hard RL monetary equivalent compares to the theft of currencies which does in the…
  • Expecting a problem to be resolved or at least properly acknowledged within 16 days is hardly instant. You didn't bother reading much of this, did you?
  • Then you've been living under a rock. Accounts are compromised all the time these days. Professionally. Especially in games where you can make hard currency of the things you steal. My case wasn't isolated. It also wasn't the first time STO suffered from a heavy security breach like it. I didn't share account information.…
  • Guys, stop discussing whether character restoration is a proof of anything. They acknowledged it as a hacking attempt during their first response. Very explicitly. They just failed to completely restore everything. They didn't say "You wont get currencies restored", they just didn't do it and assumed their job was done…
  • Okay, sorry. I'm reacting a bit too aggressive I guess. Situation is pissing me off.
  • If this doesn't get solved, I could live with that. No point in playing if thats the way they handle support.
  • I don't need to prove anything; simply because they have all the proof they need in their shiny logfiles. And let me put it this way: Microsoft was sued for the way they handled their Live points. Pretty heavily. And there wasn't even any theft involved, just the way they sold their points to make sure people always had…
  • They better do. They lost my money, they damn well pay it back. They'd be less forced to restore characters than currencies with a monetary equivalent. It'd be like a bank refusing to pay you out after a robbery since you could have staged the robbery yourself.
  • Let me put it this way. Account Guard doesn't work. You can change your email without triggering it. Thus, you can circumvent it.I was able to do the exact same thing to change my email back again. From a cellphone that never accessed anything Cryptic/PWE related. Without triggering Account Guard. Yes, it was a complete…
  • I don't blame them for my stuff being stolen - apart from their failure they call Account Guard - but for the way they are dealing with it afterwards. And they don't exactly have a choice about replacement. We are talking about RL money. And since they can trace back precisely how ZEN and Dilithium has been spent - feth,…
  • Still waiting. Not a word. Joy joy.
  • And STILL waiting. *sigh* Anyone gotten a _full_ restore yet?
  • And still waiting. At least I can make a romulan now, though I'm wary to touch my to-be-fully-restored characters. Hrrrrn.
  • I sent in ticket and email, and the email was handled precisely the same, minus the obvious categorisation. Still, they failed to restore everything. Half-arsed job, after 5 days of waiting.
  • Considering I am lacking stuff in Neverwinter too... Nah, no different.
  • Well, my characters were restored now, as were my missing mail items including that Galor I kept in there. \o/ BUT. I'm still missing all energy credits, all dillithium, all astral diamonds on NW, and all of my ZEN points. *sigh* Reopened the ticket. I'm getting more and more disappointed in Cryptic support.
  • Thanks for the sympathy. Actually, my tickets did not get recategorized to ZEN & such - only the game changed. I'm using Firefox; and the entire webform was behaving oddly. No idea why they aren't using normal form classes.
  • I've had the selected product changed after submitting as well; though in my case both games are affected anyway so it doesn't matter much. I'm starting to get irked at still not having received a reply, however. I mean, my characters in STO were deleted, nut just plundered. I literally can't really play that anymore until…
  • Had my account TRIBBLE yesterday as well, basically the same case. Got a notification about the changed email, but by the time I was able to reset email and password (from my cell, WITHOUT trigger Account Guard despite never accessing the game site from there), my account was practically empty. Even most of my characters…
