The most disturbing thing about this whole scene is the apparent lack of reaction of the background actors in the wide shots - while this is a limitation brought about due to production reasons/decisions presumably to ease SFX compositing - it seems totally out of place, especially for Picard but also for what we know of…
Cheers @pwlaughingtrendy and the rest of the Cryptic team  Happy 50th Star Trek. LLAP _\\// Hopefully this will put paid to all these 50th anniversary and nothing threads..
I would think the Trill would be around in TOS era although not explicitly seen. Toban Dax apparently was present on Earth for the launch of Columbia (NX-02). Emony Dax met Bones while he was still at university. And of course Curzon Dax was a Federation Ambassador around the time of Wrath of Khan and so Trills were…
I agree - this is 50th anniversary of TOS. If it proves a popular mechanic to bring in new players who is to say they don't have plans in place for TNG(and thus DS9/VOY) Era game play - September 2017 will mark the 30th Anniversary of The Next Generation launching. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out - one of…
There are a few other threads detailing the problem - in brief there was a mix up in the emailing and some PWI and STO players got codes for Neverwinter rather than the respective games. I know over on PWI the CM has said there would be another email sometime next week for those affected there - might be worth alerting…
See clavdex note above - I knew they had sent out PWI emails with neverwinter codes it seems they did the same with sto! Open the arc client, and click on the redeem key button again, and then there should be an option to view redeemed keys - check which game your last code went to. Bets are it was neverwinter.
Ah, they had a similar problem with a giveaway code over on Perfect World too - ended up getting Neverwinter code. Apparently there will be a re-issue of the code to those affected over there after the weekend sometimes. I would guess the same here if @pwlaughingtrendy is on the case.
All in all, I think the team generally do a good job of aging the characters without going overboard (Brent Spiner's "old Soong" makeup in TNG verged on overdone/goblinesque imho)
Damn forgot someone.. Majel Barrett 1964 Age 32 "Number One" TOS: The Cage Majel Barret-Rodenberry 19956 Age 64 "Lwaxana Trois" DS9 First Lady of Star Trek - how could I forget.
a) be lucky enough to recieve email b) copy code from email c) (i) click on link which said something like "redeem key now" from within email and log in (if required), paste code, follow process through. OR (ii) go to https://www.arcgames.com/en/redeem, log in (if required), paste code, follow process through OR (iii) open…
Ashley Judd 1991 Age 23 TNG Ensign Robin Lefler Ashley Judd 2015 Age 47 Teri Hatcher 1988 Age 24 TNG Lt B. G. Robinson Teri Hatcher 2015 Age 50 Even if some of their continued youth might be due to medical enhancement - why would the ST Universe be any different? Cosmetic alteration was a big part of storylines from TOS…
So you aren't happy your friend is back playing the game again? Or that he will be level 60 and able to join you in the same missions and queues with a usable/comparable ship? Whomever your friend is, I hope he finds others who appreciate his fortune.
press U, find your ship on the left hand side, then in the gear slots, right click on your shield and it should have disable visuals option, you can do same for some engines and consoles which have graphical effects. See vid https://youtu.be/jWRrJg_T21U?t=1m29s
Chase as Leeta in DS9 (2371)(1995 approx) Chase earlier this year in The Flash on CW. That's roughly somewhere around 20 years between these two photos and Chase still looks great. I don't think another 20 years to STO timeline is going to turn her into a crone.
repetitiveposter, nagus. Perhaps you two could just get a room and oo-mox each other to determine who is the winner in your little spat. ;D And yes, this thread started out bashing a portion of the community for nothing other than cryptic decided to give them something. I haven't seen it improve much since that point.
make sure the email address to which the code was sent is the email address attached to the account you are trying to use the code on. If you had alt accounts in the past it may be for one of those.
https://billing.arcgames.com/en/chargenew/ Seems to be working fine. Pick your game, pick your server, pick your amount, pick your payment method checkout. once payment goes through the funds will appear in your ingame cstore balance.
I would suggest asking in channel at various times of day if anyone is an Admin for the channel and if you get a reply (watch out for trolls! they do abound there) ask them to remove you from the channel. It's a bit of work. Or you can just go into your chat options and untick Trade so while you are a member of it it will…
