Leeta's an Admiral, she doesn't rule the Terran Empire, that's O'Brian's son whose Emporeror of the Terran Empire.
I think if Sisko could see the results of his helping the Terrans and see how many Star Fleet Officers have died because of it, they'd certainly regret it, not that he'd have been able to see this coming.

Didn't we kill him?
Considering that those missions are being revamped, he may not be in them at all anymore.

Leeta is Bajoran, and they seem to age like other humans/humanoids. We have seen old Bajoran women before. But in reality, she is voicing a character, not doing a motion capture simulation.
Chase as Leeta in DS9 (2371)(1995 approx) Chase earlier this year in The Flash on CW.
That's roughly somewhere around 20 years between these two photos and Chase still looks great. I don't think another 20 years to STO timeline is going to turn her into a crone.

O'Brien's son is dead. We don't know who the Emperor is. And we never did aside from in a few books with different emperors (including Shatners where Mirror Kirk rose to be Emperor Tiberius before Spock could take him out (and Spock served as a reform Emperor, dismantling the empire). And, of course, the implication the books often embrace that Hoshi was emperor. I'd rather the Emperor/Empress be someone we've never met before or someone unlikely but with a fun voice actor attached like Wesley Crusher. I think you could go very Game of Thrones with Emperor Wesley. And Wheaton loves playing cads.
Maybe Wesley captured and tortured a Traveler for his secrets, revealing how the Terran fleet was restored so fast. He has a shipyard in dillated time where generations of slave laborers die in the span of hours constructing fleets of ships. Maybe a comment about the many wives he's had executed, including Robin Lefler. (Because of course a Mirror Wesley with power would be a misogynist.)
Evil Wesley is simultaneously a dark Hamlet ("Uncle" Jean-Luc probably killed his father and married his mother) and a chance for social commentary on misogyny in nerd culture. If Wesley is a nerd fantasy, Mirror Wesley would naturally be the dark side of everything nerd. He should go around calling himself an alpha male. He'd be rude to his engineers, employ sweat shop labor, give visionary, soaring Ted Talk lectures on his evil plans, kill people for collectible items ("Do you like the Mona Lisa? I killed a trader named Kivas Fajo for it. Of course, if that's a sign of its value, several thousand gave their lives so that I could complete my Buck Bokai baseball card collection.")
And I think our first glimpse of him needs to be in a Mirror Universe Dixon Hill holonovel where he's wearing a fedora with a t-shirt. ;-)
I agree that she does need to be properly aged. The Seven excuse is a cop out. It's just that they are find making men look older but people like their women young and beautiful. Let Leeta grow old gracefully, you can be beautiful and look 70! Enough with the double standards. It's like that the fact that 37 year old Maggie Gyllenhaal was deemed too old to be the love interest of her would be 55 year old male co-star. Lets have some older women as leading characters in STO. Dame Judi is friggin awesome as M after all, imagine her as a mirror universe fleet admiral!
Oh and I swear the holo-Leeta has just had a makeover. Makes sense as Worf had a make over just before his VO work was announced and Sela had a makeover just before her return at the end of DR.

What's even more amazing is that Kamala called herself a "Mutant" in that episode as well. And working with Patrick Stewart a lot. So many awesome coincidences there.

I know he said he never wanted to play Wesley Crusher again, but I always wonder if something like that would be enough to get round it, he's still Wesley... but he's not.
She's not a Federation citizen. So shouldn't genetic enhancement always be an option.
We know why the Federation banned it (although I think it's always been unusually closed minded of them to run around afraid of Khan). We know why the Klingons banned it.
It should be common everywhere else which is most of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
And I'll throw something out there: Does the Federation have authority over Federation space? Because that space contains non-Federation worlds. I always inferred that their authority is more like...
They have authority over citizens of planets that joined the UFP and can at least threaten them with prison or exile, which I wonder if you could be exempted from by relinquishing your citizenship.
They're recognized as having the authority to keep other powers out.

Even if some of their continued youth might be due to medical enhancement - why would the ST Universe be any different? Cosmetic alteration was a big part of storylines from TOS days right through TNG, DS9 and Voyager for the purposes of missions so the skills were still in use.

Bajorans are clearly afraid to use genetic alteration because the Klingons told them that it will remove the wrinkles from their noses.
All in all, I think the team generally do a good job of aging the characters without going overboard (Brent Spiner's "old Soong" makeup in TNG verged on overdone/goblinesque imho)

You know what could be better than good-looking older Mirror!Leeta as Fleet Admiral?
That, plus good-looking older Mirror!Janeway piloting Warship ISS Voyager as a hammy final boss of the Mirror universe battlezone. With Warship Voyager as a playable reward for grinding it.

Considering Warship Voyager was a Prime universe creation that wont exist for centuries...don't see Warship Voyager happening logically...especially as a Mirror universe creation...since they don't seem to alter our designs much except for cosmetic.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

Noonian Soong age was never mentioned, you can get some idea of how old he was considering his wife, Juliana Tainer age (born in 2303) and Omicron Theta Colony destruction (2336) and his death (2367), this mean 31 years + 33 years would make him at the least 64 years old that its unlikely since Juliana worked as his assistant and Juliana mother disapproved of their relationship as he was a much older man, we likely seeing at least over a decade, this would make him 74+ years old, likely he was likely in his 90's when he died.
Likely. We did see him as used to be in the episode where Data had begun to dream. We might assume that was how he looked at the time he created Data. Of course, the man was rather vain, since all of his "sons" all more or less resembled him and he may have shaved a decade or two off of his appearance.

Actually, it won't exist at all, since it's actually a erroneous recreation based on biased records from several centuries. But that'd be a nice nod...

Of course for STO that doesn't matter, the Galaxy Dreadnought will never exist. Hell most future ships seen in Star Trek are from negated timelines.

Exactly.
That could be awesome: Complete all the objectives in the Mirror!universe battlezone and Warship Voyager shows up. 6 fore and 6 aft weapon slots including one with a Dreadnought missile launcher that pursues and can OHK a ship every 10 seconds, Borg ship assimilation ability, hull so resilient you need at least 10 players to take her down, and Mulgrew hamming her way up to the end.
And with some luck, we could get to board it once crippled, to get some info and taking down the crew -especially Neelix- in the process.

She also had a DS9 episode where she showed Odo that she wore a wig, because he was anxious about entering his liquid state in front of someone.
