Agreed. Part of what makes this game great is the ability to tailor the look of your ship so that it stands out from others. Increasing the number of customization options by separating the saucer from the engineering hull would also allow players more creative freedom in game when making their ship more unique.

I can't make sense of what I am seeing. I get an image that is heavily distorted with the color washed out. It was doing this on Tribble. Until this is fixed I won't be playing Star Trek Online Cryptic. Good lluck fixing it.

I use a scimitar with my Romulan Tactical. As it currently stands it has proven itself to me many times over in Elite STFs. I am able to go 1v1 with Borg Cubes, not Tactical Cubes, and rip them to shreds while suffering only a small amount of damage, if any at all. There is going to a fleet version of this ship eventually. They just have to decide where to place the 10th console slot, and decide whether to rework the bridge officer station. Otherwise it is a tooltip error on the universal console. You will have to decide for yourself which one it is.

The Plasma Quads for my Romulan Tac, who is allied with the KDF, sound like the Quad Disruptors. I am going to guess that the sound effects of the Quad Plasma Cannons are dictated by the faction you ally with. Frankly they need to have their own sound and not borrow the sound from one of the other Quad Cannons.

I don't seem to have my bridge officer ability tray that I have on Holodeck at this time. I selected both the third and fourth options for expanding my ability tray and nothing helps.

At the end of the Mission cutting the Cord when you go to talk to Obisek Hakeev is still standing around as a Neutral NPC. And when the Iconian sip comes through the gateway and grabs Sela's Scimitar the Scimitar is spinning around in circles while being pulled by the Iconian ship.

I agree. One of the aspects of STO that I always loved was th ability to change the physical appearance of a starship so I could have a unique loking ship if I wanted it. I do understand the Oddy not having an alternate look as it is the Federation flagship. But surely Cryptic could create at least one alternate look for…
