  • They should either sell it as a separate item or allow the interiors to be claimed if you have all 3 ships from the bundle. I bought the Intrepid Retrofit and Galaxy Retrofit back when they first came out, over 2 years ago, so it seems I'm being punished for supporting Crypitc back then.
  • I got this month's stipend finally. Still no word on May or June; they've giving me their logs on when I received a stipend but don't seem able to give me a log on when I spent it.
  • Got a reply to a ticket which says my account is balanced, despite it not. This is getting really ridicules.
  • Well if it helps to identify the problem, this is what I have listed in my "Activated Features" section: Star Trek Online Public Test Shard Star Trek Online - Preorder Star Trek Online - Digital Collectors Edition Star Trek Online - Collector's Edition Star Trek Online Lifetime Subscription
  • OK, this is interesting. I still haven't received my stipen for May or June (I never received extra on April). I have a life time account which I pre-ordered along with my collectors edition. My friend, who purchased a life-time at the same time, has been getting his stipen. The only difference? He purchased a regular copy…
  • It really shouldn't be a surprise; after all they did take in-game assets from the paid players before F2P. I personally lost 1,091,337 dilithium to their so called 'conversion' and was giving a few free lock boxes and a BOFF in exchange for it. I've been a lifer since before launch but it seems Cryptic and PWE have no…
  • Just got a response from support. They say they are having technical issues since April and ask me to please bear with them as they try to fix the issue. If this is the case, shouldn't the first post be updated to say the issue is NOT solved?
  • I never got my stipend in May or June. I'm a lifetimer so I shouldn't have any interruptions in my subscription status. I should be seeing my stipend on the 19th of every month.
  • I wouldn't take the word exclusive very seriously from Cryptic. Many items from the box versions of the game were exclusive and ended up in the C-Store some time later. The Galaxy X was an exclusive reward for their recruitment program but that ended up in the C-Store within weeks of being released to the recruiters. If I…
  • Borticus, I don't believe the heavy plasma torpedoes should be a good chance insta-kill. The idea that they are easily shot down is simply not true. Even with high targeting skills, you still have a good chance to miss those torpedoes, making them not as easy to shoot down. This is the same with those unimatrix ships; the…
  • Admitely I did this a couple of weeks ago without relizing. Was waiting for a friend to catch up, so I opened the transporter window so I could select my destination immediately when they arrived. About a minute into waiting, I noticed other users moving around the transporter similar to players in KDF Academy trying to…
  • I fear doing things on a team based system would cause competition against the teams. FA should still encourage cross team support. Titles and high value loot can be giving when the instance is completed with a very low player death and a fast completion time.
  • There shouldn't be an individual rank system at all. The game is too DPS oriented to allow the other classes to compete against Tacticals. But ignoring that, it seems silly that a mission that is supposed to be a group of captains getting together because they can't do it individually would basicly be keeping 'score'. If…
  • Well so much for everyone doing what they want to do while still gaining 'time currency'. At this point, you are forcing players to do certain missions just to get dilithium which removes time from the other missions. I know of people who only play for the STFs; that is what they enjoy and they slowly gain gear and new…
  • Perhaps make it so the past version is immune to warp core breaches in PvE since the AI pets seem to LOVE charging into exploding ships.
  • Level gating the public queues could be one method of trying to make things good for both sides (low levels get low level enemies, high levels get high level). But perhaps the key here is how the system 'matches level'. A Lt. matching a VA level gets boost to their weapon output, shield and hull HP, but they are still left…
  • If some people are getting in, then the issue is a routing/bandwidth issue. Either Cryptic has blown out a route to most of the internet when starting the pre-patch or some tech messed with the routing tables and now most of the internet can't find Cryptic's servers. VPN may help as it changes 'where' you are coming from,…
  • There still appears to be a lack of a route to patchserver.crypticstudios.com; Traceroute is showing the connection dying off in Boston somewhere.
  • As many have said before me, I feel happy and cheated at this move. On one hand, we finally get an additional benefit to tag on to LTS. On the other hand, this does almost, if absolutely, nothing for a number of LTS. Even if you eventually add additional vet awards 9which I seriously doubt you will), you tend to add them…
  • This actually applies to the ground as well. An example would be my tactical; I'll pop tactical inititive at Starfleet Academy and it will keep me in Red Alert for 10-15 seconds. More annoyingly is the STF gear 'team abilities' as well. You can be running to catch up with your group after respawning and you keep bouncing…
  • Successfully submitted ticket ID #1,402,179. I was able to buy one of the higher boosters once and it consumes all the engineering operational assets provisioning when I did so. Something is deffinitly wrong here.
  • Assuming you did not use /emote_notext, the running man emote will send an item into localchat. By no means am I saying you are spamming, but that perhaps is what they used to ban you. So at this point, I still don't know it is possible to get silence without saying anything. Has anyone tested this? To add to the list of…
  • My assumption is they do in fact log who has reported who in their system. The question though is how high up the ranks of Cryptic do you have to be in order to see those logs. I would not be suprised if a GM is unable to access those and needs a full blown dev to look at it.
  • Question for the OP; did you speak at all in zone/local chat before that? If not, it really is a serious problem that Cryptic isn't even doing an automatic check of "Did this person even TALK?" before taking action.
  • I like this; it provides a nice warning to those who would abuse the system that if you do so, Cryptic is watching and actions will be taking against you for abuse. It could also help provide some guidelines; perhaps a small "What is Spam?" type deal. Just for example, is recruitment messages once every 5 minutes in zone…
  • You brought up the argument of this system shouldn't exist because of free speech. My problem is you think that it overwrites Cryptic's right to free speech or even mine. I own and manage websites; if I don't like what you are saying I can ban you or remove your post on my sites as it is within MY right of free speech.…
  • My analogy is not flawed; this is a privately owned site and game. They set the rules; the "Free Speech" argument falls dead on that. You cannot force a private entity to allow you to say what ever you want on their privately owned property/services. As for ignoring, I'm am certain I've heard it doing that. I could be…
  • OK, lets stop right there. Yes, you have freedom of speech, but that does not apply to privately owned networks. You cannot force your way into someone's house to give a speech. Just like these forums, they are privately owned and the owners can set what ever rules they want as it is their house. You are a guest; you feel…
  • It wouldn't be a matter of seconds most of the time though. You also don't seem to understand we are dealing with multiple languages going on here. Add to it that Zone chat has no particular rules, leaves allot to be interpretated. Now I've asked Cryptic in this thread if they can shed light on how many chat bans happen to…
  • Do you know how many lines of text are sent a minute in a MMO that are in english alone? Add all the other languages and there just is no way to cover all that adequitely and still make money. You might as well tell Apple or Microsoft to ditch their spam filters on their e-mails and hire people to make a human choice on…
