• What about BLUE areas, not actually holes? The rock wall above the lower caves on RISA, for example. There are now blue patches, the largest one can be walked upon.

• You may not have to beam up. if you can change instance. There's a hole in First City whcih has apparently been there a while. Changing instance brings you back without needing to beam completely out.

I think that I've found a possible solution with HIDMACROS, which in addition to allowing use of multiple keyboard devices, can support mapping axis controls to keypresses…
