I have to say, probably yes for the game graphics, although no official information came out concerning this issue. Such image quality loss was noticeable when season 8 was launched and much more with season 9. Well, I changed to a new machine...;)

Did you find a way through it? I've tried adamkafei's suggestion but for some reason my Win 8 system simply refuses to keep the files\folders as not "read only", even doing it as administrator. :confused: EDIT: Just found this on the oficial ARC support center (see for yourself and beleive it!): "Why am I getting the…

Try downloading the launcher made available by adamkafei (see his post here). It seems to be working, downloading the huge 8.9GB game patch wright now.

Btw, error 36 seems to be another issue of this bugged launcher...

Just bought a new computer with Windows 8, installed ARC and STO and can't get into the game. Cryptic launcher autoupdate window pops up, starts a countdown update from 21 MB and when it hits 0 the process restart, seeming to be in a loop. Any solutions please?
