I can confirm what Kirkfat has stated. I have a work in progress, on the first ground map I place a couple of objects then previewed, placed a few more and the load times became 5 mins +. So when will we have the information on where and how to attend the event. I have a skype account and have signed up for the event and keep checking this post, but I see nothing about the where and how yet. Since it is tomorrow someone might want to post that info.

I have made a few foundry missions with some success. Most of my learning has been from videos and such from Star base UGC. I for one can't wait for this and look forward to attending. Working on clearing my schedule now..:D

There seems to be little to no concern about the foundry being down. Just a note on my support request that says there is no fix date. I, for one, am getting a little ticked about this. If there was an issue that had the fleet bases down for this amount of time, all hell would break loose. Not going to say anything else…
