It does have a built in Emergency Power to Shields with a 2 min cooldown, but that's it. It's mostly there for having it. I forget what ship it goes with (don't hate me), but it would normally launch like the aeroshuttle on the new Pathfinder.

I believe they just drop as a rare drop now. I find that most of them pop up during elite PvE queues because of the higher rarity drops.

No, they do most of their times and stuff according to PDT or CST. It wouldn't make sense for an American company to do it at that UTC time frame. Edit: never mind. I'm stupid, and I see what you mean.

So, I only was able to claim the first day's upgrade stuff on all my toons, but only the second day on one. Also, it gave me the first day again on another but nothing else.

Yes, there is. You have to open the game, open the Z-Store, and there should be an option to buy Zen through your Steam Wallet. -Edit- Sorry, I misunderstood. It gives me that option. To buy Zen in-game through your Steam Wallet, make sure you opened the game using Steam, not Arc or just opeing the stand-alone client
