Cooper as the new Wesley? Not really. Wesley wasn't whiny, he was just an annoyance. The problem wasn't that he was a kid in a setting full of adults ( other kids appearing in the show such as Alexander worked out pretty well in the stories ), it was the fact that they added a "chosen one" aspect ( the Traveller's advice )…
