MAybe Im wrong, but doesnt FAW fire 10 busts per beam array, spread to random targets with a bonus dame on each bust? Also it only fires the 10 busts if theres at least two targets. The notes just say FAW will function as normal beam drain does. I assume that means, currently, its draining LESS than a normal full blast of all your beam arrays. Probably not that big of a deal if your managing your weapkn energy when firing beams when FAW is on cooldown (which I assume most are)

I ran some back to back stfs and the full beam arrays do seem to be doing more dps than the DBBs. I just need to decide on whether to run the wide angle torpedo or not. Hmm I am used to broadsiding so maybe I will switch back. Things just seem to die a lot faster with the DBBs but its possible that's just an artificial effect that I notice (without noticing the downtime in having to turn).
