I was kinda hoping that it'd be a normal queue instead of this dumb event stuff. I really liked The Breach, and having it as a limited-time thing is a real gut punch when I was so excited to have it back.
No, I mean erasing things through time travel vs. with the weapon ship. Like, say you wanted to wipe out any old colony. Once you go back in time, you have to figure out a method of making sure the colony is never founded. For instance, destroying the flotilla transporting colonists and supplies to the site of the colony.…
Erasing something from the timeline with that weapon ship is much easier, though. After you travel back in time, you have to take steps to ensure that it's not created, whereas with the weapon ship, it's just point, shoot, done. Much less effort involved.
I'm sorry to hear about your bad experiences in STO, but I can assure you that not everybody in this game is like that. For instance, the people that talk in zone chat are almost universally bad people. Avoid at all costs. Meanwhile, people in DS9 are... somewhat better, but you still get a few 'bad eggs', so to speak.…
To be entirely honest, none of the command ships should have a cloak. If you're commanding a fleet, then there are going to be a lot of signals exchanged between you and your fleet. You might as well not have a cloak at all, for all the enemy will be able to see you.
As somebody whose forum name is in sync with her in-game account name, I think this is a great idea, as long as it's kept optional for those that want to segregate their in-game and forum identities, yes. No reason to deny others features that you don't need.
Inb4 necrolock (which I really wish wan't a problem if you added to the discussion, because then it keeps everything nice and neat in one place instead of being spread across lots of threads, IMO)... That's a really bad thing to say :/ Saying her birth name and then "correcting" yourself implies that you're not accepting…
Well, the Armitage-class does function as a central command centre for fighter squadrons, it's almost mandatory. Although if I'm being honest, I'd put in a CMDR-level command seat, 'cause I don't wanna put my XO in anything less than that D:
I would be very grateful... if it were up to date. But the vast majority of Intel-related powers have not even a page available, which was released five months ago. Let's not even get into data on the Command specialisation. I will admit, however, that my post was somewhat poorly worded, but I'm afraid that I don't know…
Actually, there's an entire trilogy of novels with huge amounts of info on Romulan/Reman culture that STO's adopted. The Rihannsu trilogy, if you're interested. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Cardassians have nothing remotely similar. God dammit, Cryptic read my mind before I even wanted a thing! Sly.
To those telling the OP to fix what they find... well, I can't speak for the OP, but the last time I tried helping out on a wiki, I wrote three very average articles and then just gave up entirely. Plus, if I'm on the wiki to find something, it generally means that I don't know any information about what I'm looking up,…
While I'm not going to call everybody a hero for making tough decisions, I entirely agree that there should be a lot more of them. After all, you'd have to make a lot of them, were STO reality.
