I grew up all over England as a side effect of being an Army child. And I'd never actually heard an accent like hers. Only on TV have I. Heard one or in ganes. My accent is fairly neutral and closer to RP English than.my native Liverpudlian. But with twangs and pings pongs and splatters of Welsh, Yorkshire and other…
To my understanding the cloak the Klingons began using in the 2270s was of Romulan design. More advanced than Klingon ones as part of the Romulan-Klingon Alliance of the 2260s which saw the sharing of technology and D7 designs. The one from 2256 would of been centuries old given the ships age before its cloak was…
CDF, Cryptic Defence Force? Groundbreaking. Having a fit over ST:DSC being given some coverage by a video game is not feedback. It's an asinine fit by a fanboi who isn't getting what they wanted. If you find a snide remark and someone saying good bye to be themselves asinine and uncivil, then you do you. And we'll do what…
I was wondering what was up with that. I'm assuming it's a player only issue. I was playing AoD with a friend a few days ago and he kept commenting that he wanted rapid fire phasers like Shrans ship. When I looked at Shrans ship, the Glenn etc I noticed they were firing at a higher rate than mine and my friends jelly/glob…
Oh that is adorably cute. Rumours not based on any.. facts.. at all.. in a video by a guy who dosn't like Discovery. Because clearly the whole "Omg Discovery is killing Trek" bullcrap hasn't gotten tiresome at all. But silly me I can't find a sarcasm tag large enough for this post. I'd say something like "One day toxic…
Yeah there is even a video on the history of holographic technology for Starfleet. 2150s Rudimentary training holodecks existed to a degree but lacked depth and possibly a sense of realism based on Tuckers description. Such as smells, tactile feels of liquids etc. The Animated Series in the 2270s shows the first canon…
To fix it I found I had to tell the launcher to force verify and force patch the game. It's suspicious the devs have been so quiet over all the bugs that came with AoD and the critique.
I hope we can use the Guardian to go back. But the recent post about Temporally Displaced Agents makes it out otherwise or rather as something they'll consider in the future. It's just... so god damn lazy to hype up this expansion but then only give us a redressed tutorial, 2 episodes, a fairly bland TFO and then throw us…
I have the same issue. The game can't load or is having issues with the "Crd_Ds9_Ground.Zone" file. Claiming it dosn't exist or is the wrong version when the launcher has verified 100%
Both I'm going to assume are bugs. The warp animation is a racial one like TOS Characters, Fed, Dom, KDF and Romulans having their own style/colour etc. The former, the "Historical Simulation" as they've made it for pre-existing characters seems like they just didn't bother or think to word it appropriately for each type…
Have these uniforms been fixed yet? Asides from the uniforms having the wrong colours, the variants having no real differences, missing jumpsuits, missing cadet badge and wrong medical colours... The TNG Skant uniform is already broken still. So can we please fix things before we continue pushing them?
Same here. Only my captains can use anything. Everyone else just gets the basic outfits. No badges though. What I don't get is the whole... Admiral, Captain and Lieutenant jackets. They don't, to me at least, appear to be different? I also don't get why the jacket has an additional colour option if it doesn't actually…
In my opinion, this expansion has felt a little like a money grab. £99 for a back full of ships you can't actually use until you leave the 23rd century and yet more Lockboxes. Zen costs £9/1000z. For 10 Keys at 10% off it's about 500zen. To get a Constitution or enough Lobi in to buy the uniforms or big bad Into Darkness…
The mission was far too easy and fast personally. Kinda like the rest of the missions. Just feels like one giant Tutorial. Only to make us repeat the entire game again in one giant tedious movement.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've been unable to fix the issue for him and all suggestions do nothing. The above crash log is all his game is producing.
The USS Ariel and the USS Enterprise both used the same assignment patch. The USS Antares, Defiant, Constellation and Exeter used unique ones. So it's not hard to imagine that multiple ships used the same patch, since it would be a bit of a pain in the butt to have a unique patch made for every single uniform for every…
I've encountered a few bugs, largely graphical or continuity issues. NPC's use 24th/25th Century Phasers and Phaser Rifles. Shuttle Bay door's don't open. When returning to the ship the bay doors don't open, the shuttle sits outside the hull. Transporter effects are KDF/FED for the 25th century. When returning to shuttle…
