Flim Grain effect

i'm reporting this as a bug to get the attention of the Dev team and to demand on the part of the community that the flim grain effect be removed or have a toggle to turn it on and off as many of us don't like it and some of us get headaches from it

I agree the film grain effect is annoying.

I'll add my +1 to this as well. Allow us to turn off the grain, it gets painful after only a few minutes. Leave it in for cutscenes if you must, but allow us an option to turn it off, please.

I think it's only fair for the devs to hear from someone with an opposing viewpoint. Personally, I like the film grain effect: gives the whole experience a delightful vintage feel. However, I think a toggle is a fantastic idea.

Still, you should be able to have a option to turn it off to make both sides happy :)

Yeah the film grain and blur is causing myself some awful eye strain when my eyes try to focus on different things. It's not fun at all.

    Film grain should be optional.

+1 to have it off. Hurts my eyes and ruins the look of the game. Doesn't look authentic. Like most gamers under 40 I watched better quality reruns without grain.

I support the toggle. This sort of visual effect should be an optional thing for folks with eye issues and other vision related health issues. I'm pretty sure that they intended all along to take that into account but the UI updates probably just aren't ready yet (give than the upcoming lighting update is also going to require some UI updates to allow for some tweaking for those with lower end machines).

I salute the devs for going that extra mile to attempt to make AoY really have that TOS look to it...even if I don't quite think that it's there yet. The colors are too blown out and the focus is really odd at times.

Maybe my vid card's getting older, but I haven't noticed film grain. Rather it was more of a diffusion. Like the good ol' pre-HD TVs.
