They are adding tuxes to the C-Store soon and I strongly suspect we'll see Worf/Dax wedding attire for both Klingons and off-duty Federation slots in the future as well.
Though the perfect way to package this would be to make it a pack with:
- Klingon wedding attire
- Dress uniforms (Insurrection accurate)
- Access to a chapel aboard your own ship, based on the one seen in "Balance of Terror" (Complete with Wedding March triggerable sound cue)
- Wedding banquet holoprogram (based on Insurrection)
- An interactive dancing emote that allows two people to dance
- Around 50 invitations/party favors that can be sent out, which teach a rice throwing emote when used.
Mounts are riding animals (usually animals) used in other (mostly fantasy) MMOs. Warcraft just started selling one via microtransaction a few months ago.
Champions Online does have ONE cosmetic mount at high end gameplay.
There has been discussion of mounts (ala Kirk's horse or, more often, the Argo Buggy from Nemesis) in STO but it's generally been cited as low priority... and Cryptic has stated they only have one person who would be right to do the art on a ground vehicle and he's been on other projects.
I see trouble ahead when the inevitable divorces begin. Things like is this a community property planet, and who gets custody of the bridge officers, and other issues arising to make for drawn out and dirty seperations.
Don't forget to make young teenagers in charge of your helm.
Wesley having full control of the ship's movement, just because you have a soft spot for Beverly? Despite the fact that this is the flagship of the federation and with 1000+ crew there's a lot of capable fully trained pilots on it? Goes to show you that Picard's very adept at critical thinking, just not with... (feel free to insert the innuendo here)
It would be cool if there was some way for two characters in the game to get married. It would not only be good for all the RPers out there, but it could come along with some sort of small bonus while teamed with your spouse, maybe a damage resistance or something.
This is an awful idea. No one should ever get a bonus for getting married, nor is that an area the devs should waste time on developing.
Also, there is a way you can get married. It's called RP. It'll have to suffice, at least until the off chance we get word of an official marriage system.
Typical guy, wants the women to deal with the kids. ^^
Hey its usually the woman who wants the kids. We just give em what they want and go on long trips for work till they move out....then when they are gone we move back in to the house and retire...Thats how life works.;)

More than 50% of marriages end in divorce. Its not really pessimistic so much as sad truth.
Well if we want to be serious for a moment:
That is primarily because people enter into marriage not because they actually love each other (ie appreciates the person's existence in itself) but because they merely find them useful. And usefulness runs out after a time.

Yup thats pretty much it.
Me, on the other hand, I adore my partner more than anything in the world. ^^

I think the idea of a mount in this game is dumb lol.
*Dancing ensues*
McGuyver Doesnt Dance
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
I didn't say I was dancing.
Yea I have this one science officer who has the hots for me....maybe because she Samantha Carter...I dunno
I do find myself in sudden agreement here for some unknown reason
But seriously not really needed if they want it they can RP it (though the current outfit selection is a bit meh)

You forgot the affairs and inevitable divorce. ^^
That will be in the next patch:
Bajoran break-up ceramony
So pessimistic.

Sounds like an idea for Risa content. :P
