STO has never been better, and the upcoming changes look to make it even greater!
It's a great time to join an STO fleet, whether Hydra or one of the many other great fleets! Check us all out, decide who fits you best, and get your STO on!
This is all I have to say, and will be last response to this:
I for one am not a fan of drama, especially in group situations. First, I don't recall mentioning any particular people, I simply said we had 3 people leave. Obviously, this was not an attack on you, or your character. (pun not intended ) I also did not say under what circumstances they left. (Though I would've thought that is the situtation was amiacable, then perhaps making a farewell post would've been prudent instead of just getting a system message in game.)
None the less, I don't think anyone wishes anyone else any ill will. If you were offended, that was not my intention. Perhaps you were offended by my saying that our newer players are more active and more fun to team with. I will address that as well, but in two parts.
For the aspect of being more active, that is in truth a fact. Attendance was never a strong suit for the three people of which I am referring. As I recall, there was a couple of extended leaves from the fleet and sto involved. We even had a nice "welcome back" for you when you returned for the second or third time.
For the statement of newer players being more fun to team with, that is somewhat opinion based. We frequently team up for events in pve, pvp, and stf missions (every night) and very seldom were any of these three people there, despite the constant flow of invites from several other members.
As I said, I do not wish any ill will towards you, or your budding fleet. In fact, I sincerely wish you all the very best. I even referred a player to your fleet the other day because they were searching for a hard-core RP fleet, and we are more of a casual RP fleet.
If I struck a nerve in any way by what I said, it was not intentional. I am simply trying to "clear the air".
Good Luck, and Gods Speed!

I'm also glad all of you still like MY designs enough to use them

As I stated, I referred a player to join your RP group. Thats why I stopped by your forums. I was curious as to whether he joined you or not. Wow.. why so jumpy? Relax a little. Its a game.
It's nice to know that you took what I wrote to heart...
FYI people lurking out there, Mr. Stromgold posted some questionable things in one of his threads earlier today. I responded when I found the comments toward us in his thread (I was going to bump his thread and say hello of all things.)
So, to set the record straight.
Yes, several of us are former AF officers.
Yes we left.
No, we didn't cause drama when we did so. We said our goodbyes in game and said nothing else.
We haven't brought this to this forum, nor posted anything about them on theirs.
I tried to take the high ground. Strom's repost in our thread is evidence that you can make your own decisions about. I really am saddened that my former fleet feels it necessary to take it to this level, but c'est la vie.
I sincerely apologize to those people in AF I still count as friends. I really didn't want it to come to this, I really didn't.
Anyhoo...
Happy gaming to both fleets, and to paraphrase words used towards us. "It's a game. Get over it."
I would love to have the Galaxy X but I'm not going to spend all that money to buy game copies, and I *know* I don't know five people that would want to buy the game and sub to refer for it lol

On to fun!
Looking forward to new content next month! Gimme my T5 Defiant!
Morning, Thraxx!
I'll see you all in game later tonight.
Now I've realized I have a stupid two page "You Decide" to write after it.
What kind of idiot assigns a 12 page paper due on the same days a two page "You Decide" .. ugh..
Check out http://www.hydracommand.com
Thanks to Colonel Butler for his great work on the SFMC uniforms!
Have a good gamma shift.
Heading out to go to work. Thanks for the bump, Zodi! I'll look it over later today.
*dodges the Tholian webs so he doesn't get trapped!*
I look forward to it too.
