T6 equinox mandela effect?

So I remember the t6 equinox being announced... it was the ONE ship i'd been asking for a t6 of since like 6-7 years ago... I was excited... not for the equinox, but the quasar cosmetics... low and behold I log on today... and my quasar is gone...

It is replaced by what looks like a rhode island/quasar hybrid? At least the saucer... the hull and the nacelles are correct, and yeah the pylons are correct... in the preset this is the same as the custom options... in addition... there is no rhode island selection whatsoever...

there is an aurora option which i don't really remember and cannot even find in the cstore... and the nacelles on that version are completely blown out...

does anyone have more info on this? bug? error? update that im gonna have to hate but live with? what is going on here...

Please god help me this is the ONE ship in game i care about... and it is so good tbh... even for a little piece of space scrap haha.

I found the article... buried in a google search... I am so disappointed.. why would they utterly replace ships and not just add an additional variant? I understand the bringing it up to the modern era argument... but it is content deleted... content acquired via purchase with intent for usage.. also my favorite ship hands down.. like.. do i have to live with this? is there a way to beg and complain?

Both the Aurora and Quasar were revamped to higher quality models rather than their Launch era models.
The Aurora was based on TMP era, while the Quasar took inspiration from many of the ships seein in Star Trek Picard. You can still kitbash them, and the Rhode Island should still be avilable if you have the Rhode Island from the C-Store already.

Also its not content deleted because the Aurora and Quasar were variants that were freely available to all Nova variants from the get go.

Basically this... removal... deletion... it is semantics. and no the rhode island is NOT available even if you have it purchased... the quasar design was also here before picard... i am confused even further... and i am not sure if when you say they can be kitbashed that they are intended to be kitbashable or not.. because the are NOT...

How can you not have the Rhode Island if you have the Rhode Island?

And the new Aurora and Quasar models are designed to kitbash with other Nova variants. When they redesigned the Quasar the ship art team decided on Picard asthetics for it, just like they chose TMP era for the Aurora.
