Dilithium Exchange duration

baucoinbaucoin Member Posts: 819 Arc User
I just posting to let folks know around how long the current wait for Zen off the exchange is running.

I posted a bid on 8/30/2024 and it was filled today (9/23/2024)
So, around a 24 day wait. With the exchange having an 8.3 million backlog currently, can't remember what it was at the time of posting the order.

If others wish to relay their wait great, but please don't start a flame war. ;)

Very helpful to F2P people, especially the ones who are afraid they might never get zen for their dil. The exchange still works it just requires patience.

I'd be more inclined to sell zen if they uncapped the market.

Doubt that would help much, it didn't on Neverwinter. They raised the cap to 750. As soon as they did the market had a backlog of offers at the new max. In fact, they have a 42.3 million backlog currently which takes around 300 days to fill your orders.

No cap at all I don't see happening.

Dear god... last I heard it was several months, not almost a whole year!

The cap it the problem itself. If people know there is a limit, they will aim for it. They should raise the cap ten fold or more, and not tell us what it is. Or get rid of it entirely. Neverwinter is showcasing the problem with caps perfectly. If they hit the 750 cap that fast, then that was already where the market wanted to be.

IF they uncap dil tomorrow and zen trades at 2k by month's end, that is what the market is demanding. You can't just ignore supply and demand or try to control it and call foul when it isn't doing what you want.

As we speak the amount of untraded dil is only climbing, the value of dil is only dropping, plugging our ears and pretending it isn't happening is not going to fix it. And an entire segment of the population is losing out over it.

And how is making it even MORE costly to get 1 Zen going to make anything move? We want to balance the economy and have Zen and Dilithium moving. Not sitting at "ungodly number don't bother"/1

The devs have already said they're not raising the Dilithium cap. It's an FCT topic. You can get off your soap box.

    Another listing received.
    Posted 9/8/2024 filled 10/6/2024.
    So, 28 days.
Current backlog 8.8 million and rising from the looks of it.

Thanks. It's too soon to tell from 2 samples, but if the wait continues to increase it's going to get painful for the pure F2P players. On the bright side Cryptic has increased the free ships this year by adding the Typhoon and making the event campaign give us all of the choices.
