loading game

I am loading the game up, it loads 3/4 up and stops
"Nuke the entire site from orbit--it's the only way to be sure"

    Windows? If it stops at a black screen before the Cryptic logo appears then hit ctrl + alt + del to bring up Task Manager, right click on GameClient, choose End Task, then try again. That's been happening to me maybe once a week recently.

    fixed it, uninstalled and reinstalled, working fine now, weird but good

    Sometimes Force Verify fixes those issues. has for me from time to time.

    Tried that 3 times, no joy. thanks for the ideas though

    If it does this, don't bother with force verify, start the game in safe mode via the Launcher's options, it works every time. Usually it is a change in your rig's config (driver update for example) that's the issue, and this resets the game's pref file.
