Didn't receive Klingon Recruitment status/item (Ticket #1038541)

Got a mail asking me to repost the issue here, so here goes:

- Charactername@handle: K'Ahla@commanderkeaton
- Last map you were in (if applicable): Qo'noS after the tutorial.
- Map you were going to (if applicable): n/a
- What the issue is: Character was created during Klingon Recruitment event. When I logged in again, I noticed, I did not have the Encrypted Klingon item thingy and no little icon on the character select screen.
What steps you already tried when attempting to resolve your issue (if applicable): n/a

You MUST progress to where you are given it by your contact within the mission during the Event itself. If you don't, you won't get it. Just creating the character is not enough to give you it.

You MUST progress to where you are given it by your contact within the mission during the Event itself. If you don't, you won't get it. Just creating the character is not enough to give you it.

Entirely possible that's what it is. I do not remember the timeline.

The KDF Recruit device is picked up right after the target practice session right at the beginning of the tutorial. It is pretty hard to miss compared to the AoY (and Delta iirc) ones where you don't get them until near the end of the tutorials.

Delta's also get theirs right after target practice (at least for Fed and Klingons), your future self gives it to you. For Romulan Delta's it's a little later in the tutorial missions when you finish A Day in the Sun.

For Klingon recruits you have to go up and interact with a console on the wall right after target practice.

Gamma's get theirs late in the tutorial missions.

All three recruit types mentioned above by baucoin get their Device during the tutorial, quite near the beginning for Delta's and Klingon's, but at the end for Gamma Recruits.
Temporal Recruits have to play right to the end of "The Battle of Caleb IV" to get theirs.
