Firstly I Love this ship, However i do have one outstanding question with it. 1. It has a Extremely nice Auxiliary Heavy Cannon once the ship is claimed. 2. The Ship can cloak. My question is this with the photon Aux Cannon. Am i able to use the set from Defiant and its alternate classes for a Cannon build? The T6-T5 Defiant classes i have unlocked, but to my dismay i once bough the T4 ship to complete the set on another character to only find out later its not reclaimable.
Before i spend another 150k Dil on The T4 again, I am wondering if the ship can actually use and equip this set. More so Having a Science ship with Cannons blows my mind a bit lol. i would love to focus on a Science character just for this. Thanks

The T4 and T5 Defiant set-parts can be equipped on any ship, but I wouldn't be surprised if the T6 console can only be equipped on Defiant variants. You'd be best to check the tooltip for ship restrictions first.
Edit:
I appear to be wrong about the T6 console - as of 10th Feb 2021, it can be equipped on any ship as well.
Still, it's always worth check the tooltips anyway.

the thing is, only the aux cannons will scale power. if you use the quad cannons it will suffer from the low energy weapons power. I always considered the aux cannons a gimmick

Thats interesting so basically if i want a science cannon build don't use the Aux-Cannons?

I've never used the aux cannons but anything with cannon scatter volley and some science abilities could be a fair bit of fun Throw out a Gravity Well 3, use Photonic Officer 2 for cooldown management, and perhaps Very Cold in Space 2 as a secondary deflector proc. Ionic Turbulence is also pretty effective.
I can see how having a mix of "normal" and aux cannons could make managing power levels difficult to impossible. Maybe best to go with all aux cannons (if this is possible) or all "normal" cannons, backed up by the highest available rank of emergency power to auxiliary or weapons, respectively.

I think it should be.
You'd need to discharge & reclaim the ship a few times, grabbing the Aux Cannons, but you should then be able to equip a full set in your front weapon slots.
That's quite a drain on your Aux power levels, though.

I was more hoping to compliment the Aux canons with the Defiant set but looks like i need to rethink The Axillary cannon.

The one Aux cannon that is standard on the Surhuelh (which is Romulan for "Discovery" btw) does not take too much power away from the science functions (especially since it is best to bunch up the enemy with a grav well before opening fire with guns anyway so that is out of the way), but more than one might be a bit much for it to handle.
The Aventine/ect. class might be able to support two I suppose without too much degradation of sci abilities since Fed ships have a bit more energy available from their cores, but I am not familiar enough with the Fed ships (especially MMSVs) for that to be anything more than a guess.
