Autofire ship weapons don't work

I notice today when I was making space endevors, that ship weapons (they are on autofire mode), not shoot itself, no reload, until I press button and again and again.
I check on all my toons - it's the same.
Anyone have the same issue?

    Have you checked in options-> controls-> space if the auto-attack option isn't set on something else like "cancels when target changes"?

    A recent patch has caused some space controls options to change for at least some people (for me it was the camera, auto-target of pets and objects, and the auto-attack).
