Gravity Kills bugged.

Seems the TFO Gravity Kills is now bugged. You can't collect the Hawking particles. When you try to pick one up you get the message that you've collected it, but you don't get the icon above your ship and if you go over to the Jupiter there's nothing to turn in. Discovered this in a Random TFO run and after about five minutes of trying everyone decided to abandon the mission.

It was bad enough that before you had to be sure not to be shooting the enemy to be able to pick one up, now there's no way to collect the particle period.

Reported this to support as well.

I encountered the same issue. Hawking particles cannot be picked up. After a few tries with no success, I aborted the mission.

Confirmed. This happens on PlayStation as well. The interaction plays out, it says I've collected a particle, but the particle isn't acquired. no graphic above ship, nothing to drop off once I go to the Jupiter. I did not look to see if the particle pickup goes away at source. I suspect it does not.

Had it happen to me now 5 times in a row. It hasn't worked for a few weeks on Xbox.

Yup. I am having the same issue. Got into this STF via "join random". Was warned by a player that this STF was bugged and true enough, it is. No one can pick up any of the Hawkins particles and hence the STF cannot progress and is unplayable. I left and was slapped with a leaver's penalty.

They know about it; they have seen it on the live server, HOWEVER, they haven't as yet been able to replicate the bug internally. This means they haven't found what's causing it yet.

It would be helpful for Cryptic to disable it for the time being.

At least put a time limit on it, Just for giggles I sat cloaked and started watching a movie and just did enough random steering to not be Idle TFO was still going an hour later. Jupiter is indestructable so you cant even lose to get out of it legit.
Edit: Auto ended as a victory after 1 and a half hours lol.

Just gave it a whirl for the universal endeavour. Tried and failed to pick up a few particles, then destroyed a few ships before heading out of range to one side of the map. Occasionally moving slightly to prevent being marked as idle. TFO auto ended after about 30 minutes and a failed optional objective, but with a win for the endeavour/marks. Everyone else appeared to have left by then, unless I just couldn't see them.
