Tactical Watcher BOFF Invisible

I picked a Female Tactical Watcher Companion Bridge Officer from the latest lockbox only to have her appear (or not appear) Invisible. She doesn't show up at all, on the Officer screen roster, in the away party screen or Ship station seating. When taking her on an away mission (I thought might fix the issue) I was instead given a Black cat in her place with her name. Before transport there is nothing showing in her spot, but when you land you get a cat. I even up graded her to Elite Status hoping that would make her appear but she does not.

I have a Female Watcher Engineer that works and shows up fine. I do not know if this affects the other Watcher BOFF's but I would appreciate it if you could fix this please.

    I've seen this as well. Luckily, I had another, so I dismissed the first one and the second was good to go.

    A Watcher is a black cat, just as Gary Seven's was.
    However, a cat cannot use a weapon, so your Watcher will transform into human-form whenever you enter combat.

    Oh, right - that is indeed quite weird.
    Maybe today's patch might fix it for you, or you might want to try what we never like doing - deleting the game and re-installing.

    I remember someone saying in chat that their Watcher boff was stuck in cat form shooting bolts out of thin air instead of using a visible weapon. It would be great look for some themes (not to mention funny) if it happened reliably though apparently it is a bug of some sort.

    I am also having the same issue with sekhmet. The only issue I've noticed is while on top of being invisible the Character is always first to die. Its like the suit and shield have no effect. I haven't troubleshot to see if she isn't using any Shields/hypos.

    I believe the issue is caused by the assigned hairstyle the female bridge officer has.
    You can make other female bridge officers, and even your own female captain, invisible by using a certain hairstyle, but I ain't gonna say which.

    Uninstalling the game and reinstalling also doesn't fix it.

    This is still not fixed months later.....or probably ever.
