Launcher Autoupdate can't connect after fix.

    Have you turned off On Demand Patching in the Options menu of the STO launcher, turned on Force Verify, let it patch, and tried it again? I really think that those who were constantly trying to get into the game when it first reared its head instead of waiting patiently for it to be fixed or were using workarounds, gummed up the works. I am not saying that is you.

    I attempted once on the day of the unusual patch but ran out of time to click Engage, called it a day, and went to sleep. The next night, I clicked Engage and met the error other players were seeing. After downloading a huge patch (the fix) last night, I was able to get in.

    was able to get in friday night after the patch,, but now it came back,,and i cant do anything since it wont even reach the launcher

    Same - the Auto updater attempts to update 5 times and then it times out with a message that it cannot connect to the patch server. This was fine about 4-5 hours ago.

    Unfortunately, the STO launcher won't open. It stops at the ARC launcher. ARC launcher>STO>Trying to connect>Failure

    I have the same thing . I can't get into the game.

    I was in on Friday and most of all day that I was able to play. Went to log in today, and no luck. Getting same issue as posted here.

    Played 10 hours ago, everything was fine.
    Now I can't start the game. I got the same message: Unable to establish connection to Patch Server....

    Like stated above, when trying to start the STO launcher, i get a small window stating "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient. Tried connecting 7 times." This keeps going until i manually close it.

    Yeah lots of players having the same connection problem. Looks like the servers are down again.

    Yea, I got back in then it stopped and then I got back in then the game crashed. Seems like its being very temperamental this morning.
