Unable to see missions

When in areas like the gamma quadrant, nukara, or dyson sphere, which have the extra mission UI, instead of it just going over my missions when I hover over it and going back down when I hover above it, now it just displays over it and I am not able to see any of my missions. Which makes it so I am unable to transwarp to a mission starting location or see progress of my missions. This is not good as I was unable to actually leave the gamma quadrant today by means of transwarp, and my non mission transwarp was in cooldown, I had to travel to the other side of the map to the wormhole in order to exit the gamma quadrant. After completing an endeavor for hur'q. Please fix this. Thank you.

This sounds like it may have been an issue with your own UI settings. You can edit your UI by pressing F12, moving and resizing things, and pressing F12 again to save.
You might need to increase the size of your mission tracker.

As for exiting the Gamma Quadrant:
    • there's the Wormhole, as you mention;
    • There's an Iconian gateway, over on the right side of the map;
(You may need to complete "Quarks' Lucky Seven" for it to show up.)
    • If you pop up the Mission Journal by pressing "J", you can access mission transwarps from the "In Progress" tab.

No, it's not an issue with his UI settings. A few others have noted this in reddit. It seems to effect only PC.
I have the same problem since this last patch. In the UI editor, there is only one "Mission Tracker". I have mine set at almost 66% of my Window height.
Prior to this patch, as the OP described, you had the main "Mission Tracker" showing all your current missions.
Now, if you go to one of the zones described above or indeed take something like "shuttle codes" on Romulus where you get an additional Sub "Mission Tracker" window that overlays on top of the main MT window it is fixed in place to cover all of the main window.
Previously, there was a mouseover option to expand or decrease the size of this window. That mouseover has gone, so that sub window covers the whole of the main window.
I'll re-run shuttle codes and take a couple of screenshots to demonstrate it.

    Here are the images promised:
Test 1 This shows the shuttle mission accepted and shown in the main Mission Tracker window
    cfnfu8p2d6h5.jpg

Test 2 This shows the sub Mission Tracker window completely covering the main Mission Tracker Window
    h1bynq8ztmci.jpg

I now no mouseover option when hovering over the top border to reduce or enlarge the sub window. It simply and completely obscures the main Mission Tracker window.
This causes a multitude of problems just in my example. At the end of said shuttle codes mission, I can no longer see the main mission tracker window where previously I could use the icon to the right to contact the mission giver to turn in the mission prior to leaving the instance altogether. This is a minor issue in New Romulus.

HOWEVER. When on places say like Dyson Ground Battlezone, where it is very handy / important to keep a tally of things like Enemy killed for the daily, I can no longer see that at all, as it is contained in the Main Mission Tracker window, which is now completely obscured by the Zone Mission Tracker Window.

I hope that this explains the issue much better and clarifies that it is not a simple "you messed up your settings" standard reply. :)
This is something that has only happened since last week's patch, so it's something on PC that was broken in the patch.

This is affecting me too, in exactly the way you describe. The mission tracker is no longer resizable outside of the the shift-F12 editor, and the mission tracker disappears at key moments.

I'm working my way through the Gamma Arc, and have to keep transwarping to another Quadrant to access my missions to turn them in. Its also frustrating, as without access to the missions, I cannot use the mission briefing to transwarp.

I'm really confused more people aren't complaining about this. This doesn't feel like a "My PC" issue, this really feels like a change to the game, and frankly it's a bit of a breaking bug. It's certainly stopping a lot of features from working as normal.

It baffles me too. It's not a "your PC" issue and it is a change. I play a ton of hours during the week, and this only appeared after the patch last week. They've broken something, and as usual nothing is forthcoming unless enough people shout about it.

A lot of strange things seem to happen after "routine" patches which is starting to make me wonder just how much "recycling" is going on with old code in these patches?

Certainly some sort of reply would be nice, otherwise what's the point in support forums in the first place? Might just as well flood the support ticket system with tickets, which is what these types of forums are supposed to avoid. I know if nothing is replied to in here, I'll certainly be raising a ticket. There are some many places in my daily routine where this new bug is proving to be highly annoying, if not game breaking. Anywhere that takes you into the Gamma Quadrant makes the mission tracker completely useless.

I agree completely that a response would be good, but what's baffling me, is how little this issue is being commented on. This feels like a massive issue for me, since I can't even turn in missions when in the Gamma Quadrant. I also posted about this on the Facebook STO group, and hardly anyone's responded. Either only a few of us are affected, or people really don't see it as a problem. It is for me! I can't see how this can affect some and not others.

Maybe more people will be upset when the Tour The Galaxy Endeavour comes up.

A quick update from me: For other reasons I had to do a full reinstall of STO today, and the issue is still there. Whatever is causing this, it's definitely an issue deep in the current build of the game.

This is happening to me. Its not bothering me so much on the ground stuff but it is getting frustrating when I am doing my endeavours. I use missions to quickly get around the galaxy when doing the endeavours. For example I transwarp to "Spoils of War" for easy access to Defera, Badlands Battlezone, DS9, Vlugta etc. The issue is coming into play when I go do the Hurq Frigates or Hurq attendants and end up in the Gamma Quadrant. Once there, I cant use the mission list to transwarp elsewhere as it has vanished. The only way I have of navigating is the slow travel across the map to the wormhole or Transwarp to another sector. Its not game breaking, just slower, less convenient, and im pretty sure not intended.

Per instructions from a GM, I am posting about an issue with the Mission Tracker.
Whenever I beam down to Nukara Prime my Mission Tracker indicates that I am currently in the TFO "Transdimensional Tactics". But I had not joined that TFO. I merely beamed down in order to take missions in the cave.
Upon entering the cave and speaking to the NPC mission specialist and accepting a mission such as "Thinning the Hive", the Mission Tracker continues to indicate that I am in the TFO "Transdimensional Tactics" and does not show any information for the mission that I did accept.
This issue only happens on Nukara Prime and is an issue on all of the characters that I actively play.
I first noticed this issue about 3-4 weeks ago.
I have done a "Force Verify" more than once and it has had no affect.
    In a nutshell:
While on Nukara Prime the Mission Tracker indicates that I am in a TFO that I had not joined and does not show any information for my current mission.
    Thanks in advance!

Nukara, along with other Adventure Zones within the game often feature a Zone-Wide Event.
It's often the case that Nukara uses the Transdimensional Tactics TFO as the Zone-Wide Event, which is why it appears in your mission tracker.

It has been like this since... forever. Or at least since I started playing years ago. Maybe you didn't notice, or it "slid below" when your other dailies are active. But it's been like this for much longer than a few weeks.

It's not an error in your game files, so force verify won't fix it.

    Update:
Today I beamed down to Nukara Prime and immediately my mission tracker indicated that I was in progress of Transdimensional Tactics, as expected since the issue hasn't been fixed as yet. But today I had another interesting glitch while in the cave.
I entered the cave and spoke to the NPC and accepted the mission "Thinning the Hive" (Kill 50 Tholians). I also had a personal Endeavor to kill 20 Tholians on Nukara. So I headed to level 2 of the cave to began killing Tholians. When I had killed 20 Tholians my personal Endeavor completed as it should and I was rewarded. After killing what I thought was about 30 more Tholians I checked the "In Progress" tab of the Journal and discovered that the Tholians were not being counted toward completing the Thinning the Hive mission and progress showed as 0/50. So I returned to the NPC just to see if the mission was still available or if it was showing as in progress like it was in the Journal. It was not in progress and I was actually able to accept the mission for a second time even though it was showing as "In Progress" in my journal and the only thing showing in my mission Tracker was Transdimensional Tactics, which I had not joined.
After accepting the Thinning the Hive mission a second time, the Tholians were being counted as I killed them, that time.
After seeing that the Tholians were being counted toward the mission Thinning the Hive I dropped the mission, yet it still showed in the "In Progress" tab of the Journal.
Something is very wrong on Nukara.

Since the recent patch I got a bug that the list of my story missions are not showing up when a TFO or a battlezone is running. Right now I'm at the Gamma Quadrant and I can't see the list of my missions. For example if I go to Nukara there is always running the Transdimentional Tactics and before this bug the story missions appears at the top in a small seccion and the rest about the TFO, now with this new bug the story missions tab is completely gone. Another example is that when I'm on Beta Quadrant that is a sector there's no activity I can see the story missions meanwhile on Gamma Quadrant that the battlezone is running the mission tab disappears completely too.

This is still (or maybe again? hard to tell sometimes) an issue. The mission tracker is hidden on Nukara, making it quite annoying to see your progress.

A search did not bring up anywhere this was acknowledged or commented on when it comes to a possible fix. Has there been any news in the past 6 months? Thanks.

It was working last month, so it is probably more of a "broke again" situation. I noticed it on one of my characters earlier this week when I went on a mission, but mostly I have just been too busy IRL to do much more than the event stuff (though I tend to stay logged in longer for when I get a few minutes to do a patrol or whatever, which I wouldn't have time for if I had to start the game up again, especially with the blackscreen bug slowing game startup).
