Hello there,

Installed your latest small patch, wanting to "engage" afterwards.

Lo and behold, the following (cryptic) error appears:
`Unable to start game client: client quit unexpectedly`


massive.Fail(detected) == crash.Launch ..
"To baldly go, where no one has gone before"

    Have you turned off On Demand Patching, turned on Force Verify, let it patch, and tried again? I got the latest patch and do not have this problem.

    I was getting the same issue.

    Game was working fine a few days ago, then small patch and now it outright crashes my display and sound drivers at the Cryptic loading bar.

    Tried force verify, turn off patching on demand, tried to start safe mode and it all crashes at the cryptic loading crashing my display and sound drivers.

    Found out it was a corrupt driver download from nvidia specifically tied to the "power management" setting. Re-downloaded the newest nvidia driver, ran as administrator with a clean install and set power management to "optimal" the the nvidia control panel and the game started right up.
