We had a new launcher today and can't type a @ character into email-box in launcher, if the login name is an email address.
Other special workarounds are working (ctrl+c and ctrl+v or type with ascii-code).
But pls fix it. Thank you.
At least you can see it. It's all black for me. It responds to buttons click, as I see the hand icon passing over something. Then opens browser or so. But that's all. Can't log.
A tried to testing it, but unfortunetly still not working:
- this two edit boxes have a new* english context menu (on right click), with an english spellchecking and dictionary (*=atleast I never seen before this menu)
- from last maintance every start of launcher adds a new error message to debug.log: "[0708/004123.438:INFO:CONSOLE(151)] "A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js, is invoked via document.write. The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message. I don't know. Finally I kept the old standalone installer, but I have to log BLIND. It's not that hard when you get used.
Your problem is different, but while looking a solution to mine I found something that maybe could help.
The login name used in the launcher is stored in windows registry. CURRENT USER... Cryptic.. Launcher, or so. Not difficult to find. There's a key with a string with your user stored. If you can't enter it on the launcher, maybe you can type it there. Then start the launcher and see if it appears. Then it's only matter to enter the password. No idea if it can work, but maybe it helps.
