On my Paul character I now can't do any training of any kind for my bridge crew nor my away team. When I click on any one of them to try and train them with a skill nothing pops up.
I checked my two of my other characters and the option to train them comes up but on my jem'hadar character ixak'eklat I still can not train my engineer away team guy in my created medical generator 3 training manual that I made for him. It's been two weeks or more sense I've had this issue.

It's in my captains inventory. That's not the issue. When I try to train anyone of my away team crew members, when I click on them to train them I don't even get a menu that has a list of the training manuals. At this point it's beginning to feel like retaliation because I criticized bow they do things. I have so many bugs on my characters that it's not funny.
I know I'm going to regret this, but do you have enough Exp to actually train them?
If you are trying to train an ability linked to a specialization then you have to make sure that specialization is enabled for the Boff you are trying to train. I.E. Enable Command to train Command Abilities and ensure they are in a Command seat. That means for Engineering Command you have to have an Engineering/Command seat to train your engineer in command abilities. Or Sci/Command etc
One of my biggest gripes with Console training vs PC is our inability to train Boffs without having to have the correct ships with the appropriate seats and Rank. On PC you can train Boffs at anytime for any rank regardless of what ship you are currently using.

Yes I do have enough exp to train them. I have over 3 million on one of my characters. That's for the info about the ships. I did know this as well.
I have two characters that have this issue. It's been a month since I reported it and I still can't train them. I believe it has to do with jem'hadar crew. For ixak'eklat, my jem'hadar vanguard character I created medical generator 3, I can't train my crew member in it. For my Paul character I bought uncertainty burst 1, I can't train my jem'hadar crew member in that skill either. Here is a clip from my Paul character showing what I see when trying to train the crew member in said skill. Yes the crew members are promoted to the highest possible level.
My first instinct was to suggest you may have the Training Manual in your bank and training doesn't work from there. But then you went and showed the manual in your Inventory!
Does the bridge officer you're trying to train have the relevant Specialisation active? That's about the only other thing I can think of here...

OP, it is unnecessary to create two bug report threads on the same issue. /merged

It feels like nothing is being done to fix the issue seeing as it's been a month since I first posted about the issue. You guys don't give updates or even acknowledge the issue so how am I supposed to know if something is being done about it. That's why I created another post explaining my issue. When it's been a month or more without acknowledging the issue then it's perfectly understandable when a person will create another post to try and get the devs attention.

I would imagine when it comes to bug reports keeping all comments about one issue in a single thread is easier to deal with than having to scan multiple threads about the same issue. Posting in the original thread will bump it to the top of the pile anyway.

Exactly this. Posting in the original thread helps to continue tracking the history of the bug and minimizes the number of threads the devs have to read when dealing with a particular bug. And you're not guaranteed to get a response to your thread unless the devs have questions or need clarification. Thank you for your bug report, though.

You can only train from the Inventory.
