First Contact Day event rewards (Toy Rocket & Holo-Phoenix) not reclaimable across my account.

I completed the First Contact Day event a few days ago, then claimed and received all of the rewards on the character I was using. Unfortunately, two of the rewards (Launch Toy Rocket and Holo-emitter Phoenix Shuttle) do not show up in the "Reclaim" sections of the Event, Lobi or Dilithium stores, for any other characters.

I can reclaim the Chronogami Time Device main prize in the "Space" section of the Event store, so I assume the missing rewards should be in the "Misc" section of the same store.

I have contacted Support about this and was advised to post here. Any help with this would be appreciated.

    This happened last year too (or was it the year before?) and was patched not long afterward.
    They should appear in the "Other" section of the Event Reclaim window...

    As far as I was told only the Chronogami is account reclaimable.

    They were originally character-specific unlocks when they first appeared, but have been made account-unlocks since 2020, 2021 and 2022.

    In fact, the unlock was bugged in 2020 and there was a patch to retro-actively fix it. (Unfortunately, I can't find the exact link for this.)

    Since then, the unlocks have worked just fine - until, it seems, this year.

    I reached out to other players on Reddit and a couple were kind enough to provide some screenshots showing that the items were indeed reclaimable in the 'Misc" section of the Event store.

    The first is from Xbox, and the second two from PC. The PC screenshots show both items in the Event store, and that both items disappeared from the store after one of them was claimed.

    If the item is deleted from the Inventory, they should show back up again.
    Although, it is weird that both disappear when only one is reclaimed.

    I sent these screenshots to support, as well, and even with evidence to the contrary, they're sticking to their story:

    I sure hope they don't apply this new definition of "account unlock" to any more items.

    Anyway, if actual screenshots aren't enough, I'm not sure what else can be done to convince them it's a bug. I know this is a small issue and the devs have lots of others that take priority, so I wasn't expecting this to be fixed immediately, but I can't help but laugh at this "it's not a bug, it's a feature" response.

    That's just not right - clearly there's a lack of communication at Cryptic HQ.
    Maybe @ambassadorkael#6946 or @baddmoonrizin can get some clarification?
    Why have these items been marked "Account Unlock" for four years now, actually unlock in 2020 (after patch), 2021 and 2022 but suddenly not unlock properly in 2023?

    That's just not right - clearly there's a lack of communication at Cryptic HQ.
    Maybe @ambassadorkael#6946 or @baddmoonrizin can get some clarification?

    Just wanted to say thanks for the helpful responses you've added and for pinging these guys. Hopefully they'll be able to help, as well.

    Yeah, if they meant for it to unlock for a single character, they would not (or should not) have called it an account unlock. This is typically referred to as a character unlock, not an account unlock. These terms are not interchangeable, as far as I understand.

    I want my toy rocket and holo emitter on my other characters, too!

    It was brought up in the chat on TFW but not commented on by Kael or Christian. Kael said to post issues in the forums so I am bumping this until it get fixed.

    Were any of those people who still showed it as claimable actually able to claim them though? I HAD them as reclaimable but nothing happened then they disappeared from the list.

    The last screenshot shows the item was claimed before they both disappeared. There was a notification, at least, but I don't know if they actually received the item.

    I decided since OP's support ticket didn't get any movement on this I would submit one too. The GM stated it has been sent to the Devs to "identify the nature and cause of the problem" Hopefully this will be resolved in the next patch. It should be an easy fix since the same problem has come up in the past (according to other posts).

    Thanks for submitting another report. I've been bumping this thread after every patch, but those posts were all deleted last week.

    Bumping threads is against forum rules.
    Not trying to be a pain in the backside but, you should talk to Kael... He has said numerous times on TFW to keep bumping them until it's resolved, so devs can see it.

    Which this one still isn't. (unless it's stealth patched tomorrow)

    I talk to Kael daily. But unless/until he changes the forum rules, I will enforce what is there. If you are anyone else has additional information to share that can help the devs resolve the issue, then by all means, please post it. Otherwise, non-informational posts that just "bump" the thread are considered spamming and will be dealt with as such. Thank you.

    @baddmoonrizin @ambassadorkael#6946 Can someone please advise me on the next steps to getting this resolved? I have submitted a support ticket to which I was told it would be submitted to the devs. I (and others) have posted here about it. I have brought it up on TFW streams and even commented on twitter ( or is it "X" now??) posts. What other course of action can I take to have this resolved? It has been an issue for about 3 months now, with no resolution or even an acknowledgement that it will be fixed.

    Any chance this issue could be fixed by making the items account unlocked? That would satisfy my itch to use this item on other characters, although others may not find that an acceptable fix.

    As for having patience, well, that's fine, if there's some sort of acknowledgement that the issue will be eventually fixed. We did get a developer to comment, but that was before the evidence of it being reclaimable was presented. What are the chances that @chrian#9670 (or any other dev) have or will revisit this issue beyond that single post?

    If it makes you feel any better, I still can't claim three ships in my events tab that are account unlocks. And thats been bugged for years without fix so I'd say your toy rocket is pretty far down the chain of bugs to be looked at.

    Yeah, I'm not really upset about this bug, but I am reminded of it whenever I see another player use theirs. I definitely realize the chances of this bug being fixed are very, very slim, as more and more bugs push it down the list (if it's even on the list). I'd just appreciate some communication from a dev, especially after their only response was proven false, but I also know the chances of that are equally slim.
