Those new phaser pistols could be interesting. I might get the staff too, there aren't that many mixed- energy-melee weapons after all so it could add something to some of my melee toons.
The ship's stats seem pretty good, but the console seems just much too circumstantial to be of much use. Since I have an unused pack, I might get it. The no-morality, life reduced to simple consumption fits well with one of my... Darker toons.
Good complimentary pieces for plasma between the weapons, console, & ship trait. Unfortunately Cryptic sticks it all behind a paywall AGAIN for plasma. I remember Cryptic made it to where a plasma omni set was the only energy type not as a mission reward but behind a lobi paywall. Someone at Cryptic has it in for plasma or something?
A side-note, Cryptic should consider when a player unboxes a gamble ship, even if done at level 10 or 20, have it drop all of the weapons even though not all the weapon slots are open yet. Cryptic is cheating the player on not dropping all of the weapons that would've been dropped at level 40 & some of us enjoy leveling-up using the themed weapons.

Does anyone even use those white quality weapons? They're non-upgradable and seem pretty useless to me, regardless of whether you get them for all or just for half the weapon slots.

I do as leveling new toons. If they display the infinity symbol they're scaling till level 50 or 60. It also keeps the theme of the weapons with the ship.
Since when do ships from primary faction playable races go into a lockbox?
We've been waiting so long for a canon gorn ship.
This should be an account-unlockable C-store ship.
I don't even need to use keys to unlock that ship since I could simply get it for free during the next Event Campaign, Lobi Items are pretty cool, I might need to roll up a SNW alt, (DSC faction, with modified uniforms aka Kelvin Top plus DSC pants and boots),
Folks - there was a major breakdown in communication, and I apologize. This blog has now been updated and is correct. The pistol, kit, and universal console are Infinity Lock Box rewards. The staff, 2259 Armor, and Majalan uniform are in the Lobi Store.
This sort of breakdown should not have happened, and we deeply apologize. We're looking into process updates to figure out how to avoid things like that in the future.

Your openness here has been very much appreciated, and hopefully not just by myself.
As a gaming community, we can often be highly critical when mistakes such as this happen - but that's just it, they're mistakes, and they do happen.
Thanks again.

Some details regarding the Gorn ship, fresh from Tribble:
-you have 3 hull options, though only the default one looks like it fits
-it's a tiny ship, like in the show. You can see the size difference:
-it spins in a specific pattern when you move it, like in the show again
-in what could be considered the middle of the ship is a hollow part in a distorted triangle shape, where the deflector and engine trails come from
-SHOCKINGLY for an alien lockbox ship, you can choose any Klingon bridge for it

> Really not sure if I like this new design for Gorn ships.
I kind of like it but I want to flip it a certain way, then it looks like a ship they would use.

Well stated.
I'm still deciding that myself but since seeing them in the series I find their almost organic look appealing.
